Agree but he just looks like, yet again, another wasted 2nd rd pick.

Charlotte already has Detroit's 2014 1st

Wolters is making the team, but I don't think they drafted him to be a starter at any point. I'm cool with taking a flyer on Knight though.

Wolters has looked really bad in the Summer League, like worse than Larry last year bad. He really doesn't look like an NBA player honestly. Its not like LArry where he was in the wrong position, its that he knows where to go and he can't get there.

What makes you guys think Wolters won't make the team? He has looked alright on offense to me in SL and has potential. I'd rather keep 4 pg's cause I fully don't expect Ridnour or Ish on the team past this season

Not sure if this was posted. Saw this on the hoopshype rumors page:

Steve Kyler: Brandon (Jennings)? Bucks are talking new deal with him, nothing close Twitter @stevekylerNBA
Scott Skiles on being compared by reporters to Hall of Fame coach Pat Riley: "If I thought you guys knew anything, I'd be flattered."

Is Ridnour still our starter after this trade?

Regardless, if it means no Jennings I'm good with it.

It'd make things a bit more interesting at least. Could try to talk myself into hoping a Knight / Mayo tandem would provide enough playmaking as a backcourt to cover eachother's flaws.

Pistons blogger. Think he's reporting something somebody else reported first, but not sure if that's legit. This rumor certainly doesn't seem legit. Another too good to be true deal. Brandon Knight isn't awesome but he is an awesome long term fit if Yanni pans out.

There is no way we plan on going in to the season with Ridnour as the starter. We will pull off some terrible trade / desperation move before we let that happen

Knight got rave reviews from teammates & Frank. Apparently works his butt off and has a good attitude. Only 21. I'll roll the dice if he's got Drew and Van Exel working him along.

Detroit can't trade a 1st until the one they owe Charlotte is conveyed. It is top 8 protected this year, top 3 in 2015 and unprotected in 2016.

Big price to pay to get rid of Ben Gordon.

Sorry, can't let you dream. :P

Here we go. This is from the Pistons side now.

Im down with that, that would assume Ayon is on the team

No. No Udoh for sure.

Man.....Don't like either of these guys.

What? If we trade Udoh. Ayon will be on the team. We would have only 4 bigs if Ayon is not on the team.

I would do Udoh and Jennings for Knight and Stuckey. Why not*.

*Besides that I don't think Detroit does it.

@Cpappas36NBA 51m
@ESPNSteinLine any truth to the Jennings/Knight swap?

Yeah, this guy sounds very confident in his sources.

Sanders/Zaza/Ayon?
Ersan/Henson
Delfino/Giannis/FA SF
Mayo/Stuckey/
Ridnour/Knight/Wolters

Who am I missing? Why wouldn't we keep Wolters this year even if he does stuck? You think a GM is gonna cut a guy he traded up for before giving him a season in the D-League?

Well.....

I don't like Stuckey, even as a backup 2.

I don't really like Knight, most certainly not as a starter.

I kind of like Udoh and don't feel like giving up someone I like for well....worse players.

I don't really know what Jennings worth is, but I guess I'd look elsewhere or keep him.

Some people are so hard to please. Just get rid of Jennings!!
