Doesn't seem like many of you are concerned about Henson/Thon at center... are you guys just banking on Giannis playing 20-25 minutes a game at center now?

Bounced back after a tough first year, dealt with getting benched and Kidd's BS like a pro, played awesome. And outside of Bucks fans he's talked about like he's some random scrub.

We say he had a tough first year, but his net rating was roughly a +4 or 5 per 100 possessions that season, averaged 19/11/3/1/1 per 36, had the 3rd highest BPM, highest WS/48, 2nd highest VORP, and highest PER on the team.

I'll always like Monroe and think that he was underappreciated both by our fans as well as fans league-wide.

so youre saying we shouldn't trade NBA players for WNBA players or NFL players? Damn.

Well maybe if you're the Spurs you can pull off something like that!

It all comes back to the knees. Home run trade if his knees hold up.

But this is precisely why other teams weren't clamoring to give up significant asset packages for him either now or back in the summer. The health risk.

Lanier's knees worked for five years after Bucks acquired him from Detroit. I'm taking the optimistic view.

For Kent Benson and a 1st. Intriguing parallels.

Edit: Also, the 1st became.............Larry Drew. Creepy.

Trade DJ and Jabari to get rid of Henson and Mirza for expirings like Okafor. Restructure Delly's contract so 9 mil from 2018 go towards a 5th year in exchange for a no-trade clause. The Bucks or the Players union lobby to get dead money like Hawes and Sanders not to count towards the cap sheet. Then I think we have enough.

You guys are a top 3 team in the East now. That pick isn't going to matter in the long run as you guys go to the 2nd round and possibly even ECF, and your players are still getting better too.

I know, right? Why would anyone want to try to understand what the Bucks actually traded? This forum isn't called CasualGM for nothing.

This is great. Mainly because the Preds got Kyle Turris in this trade.

Mirza can't do anything other than shoot 3's and will either be ice cold, or might hit a few.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

I'm terrified. There's no way they can be planning on this roster. Unless they are. That would suck.

In the new CBA can you sign/trade Jabari to them in the offseason? LBJ opts in, then we trade them Jabari, some firsts, etc. Like the CP3 situation this year. I know you could in the past but not sure now.

I feel for Moose but not really. Sorry bro. Ride out the rest of the year in the warmth right before WI winter sets in.

Well I've been hoping for Giannis C mins anyway so that should cover some of it. Keep henson's head on straight and you could be ok. But mostly I'm assuming they're looking anywhere to trade Delly or Telly for a competent big, hoping for Lopez somehow. In the meantime I'd assume a Joel Anthony type will be there for depth.

Who is our kurt Thomas/Scott Williams?

I still have an irrational urge to sign Bogut for picks and easy dunks.

I say do it this year as the expirings happen by 2018

(feel free to move to Trade thread)

tried to find bad teams and teams with Cs getting little playing time.
someone work their magic on the nba trade machine and get us a C

i like all the bigs from the Kings. Giles is injured tho and Skal is more a PF than a C
Dewayne Dedmon, Hawks
Tyler Zeller and Jarrett Allen, Nets
Nuggets have an excess of PFs, that can do a few mins at C.
Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez, Knicks

Vaughn, Wilson, player X, future 2nd....does that get us anything?
i know some of us would move Thon.
Delly, Telly, Terry, Sterling dont really have much value.

You have to trade something with it. And you already are doing that for Mirza and Henson

Monroe was nothing but a class act and teammate throughout his stay here. Even took coming off the bench in stride for the betterment of the team. I'll cheer for him wherever he lands.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
