I have to admit I get a little unnerved thinking about our big man rotation if Brook is traded. Giannis playing more at center is fun but I dont wanna overplay that hand.

Except that team already exists and they also have SGA.

If you truly love something, set it free.

Giannis for Adams is a salary match, and then it just comes down to a massive pile of draft picks which they are well equipped to dish out. Another small market for Giannis to avoid the press. Maybe some of us could even make the move and grab season tix.

I just dont see any feasible trade that truly moves a needle for us. Sorry.

Is this a joke? You want to trade Giannis and your best idea for what we get is Steven Adams and picks?

I am fine with trading Giannis actually, one of few here who probably is. But it'd have to be something like a Boston deal around Tatum and Brown. If it was the Thunder, SGA would have to be a part of it along with the pile of picks.

Okay.. yeah let's trade for Tatum and Brown, who even with Smart and the rest of that Boston team and with Stevens coaching are not good enough to make the finals. Let's roll that lineup out there for a couple years and get bad draft picks along the way before both of them leave and we can hang our hat on giving the Durant/Kyrie team a bit of a scare in maybe two of the 5 games that we play against them.

Or we can think more long term and start our own version of the process with a massive stockpile of picks. Didn't really work out for Philly but at least they took a shot. What you're talking about is making us the Pacers. Im sure the owners would love the idea of us being just good enough to fill seats but never good enough to actually compete for anything, but i dont want to be the Pacers.

I dont think anyone that is trying to win a title wants Bled on the team. We need to send him somewhere where they put a high importance on defense and dont care how they do in the playoffs. Orlando seems like a good fit.

Not that we have the goods to get it done, but Darren Wolfson is saying he’s been told by an agent that one of Towns’ good friends in the league is saying “he’s as good as gone”

Yea I've been waiting for attention to get to him instead of Giannis. Sure I get Giannis is a much bigger star and a FA sooner but KAT has been flying under the radar on this player movement obsession of the media. I can't see him staying there for his next contract. Sucks to say but this is the move Boston needs to make centered around Brown and picks. Seems like the obvious fit. FWIW he's originally from NJ.

Personally I'd love to see Por get a hold of him

Bledsoe has value, but its to a team like Atl who needs a defensive guard. I dont know how many other teams are out there like that. Anyone you guys like on Atlanta?

Klutch runs the Lakers, and they'd love to unite Bledsoe with Davis and Lebron.

I honestly believe that Bucks Org is incompetent at all levels
I mean 5 or more years ago Bucks said " We Own The Future " ...
and made 2 good moves (Bud+Brook) and about 40 trash moves that are about to expire "Our Future"

PS add about 100 non moves cause the GM's phone is glued and we love *****ng continuity

That's not how the collective bargaining agreement works. You don't get to just make up things after you buy someone out to get them off of your salary cap.

Why do the Bulls do this trade? I don't think an expiring and a late first in what is thought of as a bad draft gets it done.

I dont see NY being as longing for Bledsoe as you guys. Like at all.

In full disclosure, I make this statement after looking at their cap sheet to see if an opportunity existed to steal Knox.

Supposedly, Minnesota is looking to trade Towns. I know he's a terrible defender, and there's no way Milwaukee trades for him, but it'd be interesting to see if Milwaukee could hide his awful defense.

They just traded for one of his best friends in Russell and both those guys are locked up through at least 2023. Throw in that they just got the #1 pick and don't really have any bad contracts anymore, and I'm not really buying any reason why Towns would want out of Minnesota at this point.

It's the Timberwolves. Of course Towns wants out.

This.

If anything, I'd think Towns and Russell would stay together and try and get Booker with them so they can have the three best friends back together again.

And it's Karl Towns. The guy who seemingly values Call of Duty and playing with his best buddies over playing defense.

They need to trade him for Ayton yesterday. We can be the third team and snake Rubio and Nowell in a Jennings trade redux.

As someone who's a fan of both the suns and bucks I might throw a party if this deal went down.

A year ago I would have said no on the Bucks side but after watching Rubio this year I've changed my tune. He's a delightful player to have run your offense, does so many little things well and easy guy to root for.
