I'm okay with the media just completely forgetting about us until playoff time, honestly lol.

He'll still be a scorer, but not sure they're going to need as much of that now. I think he has the skills to be a good off-ball SF, but he has never seemed to fully embrace that and was always more comfortable emulating Paul Pierce. Bogdan is a better passer and at least equal as a shooter. Jrue is a better ball-handler and passer. They will both be featured much more on offense than Wes, Bledsoe, Hill, or DDV.

In what world is Bogdan as good of a shooter as Middleton?

Middleton for Oladipo and TJ Warren works.

The biggest positive is keeping Khris from pounding the rock too much and getting 2 guys that are superior ball handlers coming in.

I don't think we should mess with the starting five. Very good mix on offense.

So I guess the real question is..do we now have someone that can dribble a basketball the length of the court while under pressure without bouncing the ball off of their foot and/or leg?
only a fan, only an opinion

Follow up question... if we in fact do have this player, will we still insist on having Khris initiate the offense in critical end of game situations?

And they spent more time talking about Bledsoe teaming up with Zion more than they talked about how this impacts the team with the 2-time reigning MVP, who also happened to have the best record in the league the last 2 years. God I hate ESPN with a passion.

I'm already preparing for the Jeff Teague experience. He was always destined to be a Buck.

Luckily nobody watches ESPN. Their daytime programming ratings are in the tank. Someday soon they might be totally subscription based.

Nope. And he'll probably be ok with it. Some nights he'll be the second most important player on the team. Some nights, third. Some nights, fourth. And some nights, fifth. Probably pretty equally distributed throughout the course of the season. Which is fine by me. Again, that token All-Star selection cost the Bucks so much freaking money. Oh well, go win a title and its all good.

I don't expect Bud's distribution of minutes to change. There will be plenty of opportunities for Middleton to carry the offense. Given the spare parts the Bucks will need to add to the bench, Midds may be depended upon to do this more than last year.

Also fine by me now that we have our starting point guard. Jeff Teague, the backup, works in this scenario.

In a fantasy world.

Khris is just this board's whipping boy for whatever reason.

They were trading him for Blake Griffin yesterday for **** sake.

Wondering if the team feels like Frank Mason can contribute as a legitimate back-up, rather than just a break-glass-in-case-of-emergency type 3rd stringer. 100% ok with sacrificing depth, but that just means it's all the more important to start finding contributors from your G-league/farm system. Giannis/Khris/Holiday is a great trio, but they're no Steph/KD/Klay, so you can't exactly get away with running a bunch of Pat McCaws, Ian Clarks, and Jordan Bells out there as your complimentary dudes.

Its the contract. Obviously. And unfortunately for Khris. He's a good player and and a good dude.

Yep. He was the only player who showed up for that Heat series besides Giannis/Midds. He's the perfect small ball five to have out their in the playoffs in case Brook's shot isn't dropping or the Bucks have to go full switch.

Marvin was brutally destroyed by Bam, and the Bucks cratered when he was on the floor.

Yeah he was not good. No more Marvin please

This....

Mids dribbling upcourt in traffic brings up images of a 3rd grader picking up his dribble baseline corner and getting triple teamed by 3 7th graders. Best could hope for is Mids getting fouled while flopping...

I hope he accepts his catch and shoot role... and becomes our rich mans version of Tony Snell...

The weird thing is Khris is a nice passer but he just shouldnt bring the ball up the court or hold it long. I've never seen a guy almost lose his handle as much as him despite maintaining a good TO ratio
