Negative impact player.

I know the stats might be too complicated for you, but they paint a pretty clear picture of his defensive impact.

Stats are fun and all, but I don't think there's a single defensive metric that accounts for all the mistakes he makes in positioning. Dude is either recovering because he was caught totally out of position or hes blocking a shot because he left his assignment or he's elbowing people in the face because he doesn't have full control of his limbs.

I won't even respond to the lame attempt at an insult

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Yeah, he's not going to be on the floor in a situation like that.

The stats aren't that complicated, he's a negative impact player that stats show a moderate level of defensive impact with a largely negative offensive impact. Bucks are 5.6 points better defensively with him on the court and 12.2 points worse on the other end. Individually, DRPM puts him somewhere in the middle of Javale McGee and Robin Lopez ( :reporter: ) as about approximately a bottom 1/2-1/3rd defensive big in the league, though a little bit higher up the list a guy like Ekpe Udoh has been in the league quite a long time based on his defensive proclivities so maybe we're onto something.*

*If AussieBuck is reading this Ekpe Udoh still sucks and has always sucked.

Udoh sucked when he hurt his knee and got sad. Thon's going to be peak Udoh with a three ball by the time John Hammond signs Ersan to his next free agent deal.

Just made my vote, it was a tough choice between "towel waver/human cigar" and "out of the league after rookie deal", in the end I voted "towel waver/human cigar".

I think Thon will become a 2 way player after his rookie deal for some other team, playing most of his games in the G league.

Was, is and always will be a bad player.

Hopefully he can help in spurts before he goes away.

His DRPM is 1.14, or 31st out of 97 PF (espn categorizes him as a pf).
His RPM is -0.43 or 44st out of 97.

So, above the median, both defensively and overall.

Which is silly considering he's played like 1/10th which could considered not as a center and I think even his staunchest supporters would agree pretty much all his value is at center.

Either way impact defender would seem to be a stretch.

My vote of 'Bench Rider/Spot Minutes'. Spot on. Again. I think my only mistake in the past five years is DJ Wilson. Chuck would weep at this level of elite posting.

EDIT: I also definitely hated on Bledsoe for wayyyyyy too long at wayyyy to intense a level. So there's that. #StillElite #HatersGonnaHate

This is a joke. Chyyyyyiiiillllllll.

New Thon thread is up, this one is toast.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
