Middleton was good against Durant but he hasn't been good defensively.

Beal's contract is good because it is the going rate and he's here for a further two seasons.

The stats and I say Middleton has been extremely good at defense and is shooting unbelievably.
Beal is ONLY good if you like PPGz

Midds started out on fire on ridiculously unsustainable numbers. The last 5 games he’s been pretty bad shooting wise. You that confident that over the rest of the season Midds is gonna be above 36% from 3 given how much he has increased his volume this year?

Just saying, this board loves to proclaim Middleton as for sure better offensively than a lot of consistently good offensive players when he’s on a hot streak...and then make every excuse imaginable for him when he slumps and regresses to the mean.

If Fultz is on the block do we have any interest?

Also if we could find a deal for Henson, Willie Reed could step into his minutes pretty quick.

Why would Washington trade Beal for Midds?

I forgive you for not being locked into Memphis Grizzlies basketball but they"re a surprisingly fun watch & Conley has been looked really good in wins against good teams.

I don't think I've seen any grizzly games this year, but I looked at Conley's stats and they are bad.

Because Middleton is a better player. Regardless, if they trade Beal it likely is in a blow it up move for the future.

What about this?

Trade 1
Brogdon for Okobo, MIL 2019 1st (1-7 & 17-30 protected, 1-7 protected, unprotected)

Trade 2
MIL out: Bledsoe, Snell, MIL 2019 1ST, MIL 2021 ST
MIL in: Beal, DJ Augustine

ORL out: Fournier, DJ Augustine, OKC 2020 1ST (1-20 protected, 2 2nds)
ORL in: Bledsoe, Snell

WAS out: Beal
WAS in: Fournier, MIL 2019 1ST, OKC 2020 1ST (1-20 protected, 2 2nds), MIL 2021 ST

Leaves us with
DJ Augustine/Okobo/Delly
Beal/DDV/Connaughton
Middleton/Brown
Giannis/Ersan/Wilson
Lopez/Henson/Thon/Wood

Was it pretty much Butler for Khris straight up? I have a hard time doing that because it still only gives us 2 Really Good players. The goal was 3 really good players, right?

Still it would've been an upgrade i guess.

What are some cap clearing trades we can make? With Brooke excelling so far I see his cost going up each game and I am willing to pay him. We need to move Thon, Delly, DJ, Brown, possibly Henson and Snell. Orlando? Cleveland?

The thing is, we can't generate a reasonable amount of cap space. If we can creep under the tax, we'll have our MLE available. That is something but might not be enough. Everything else will take too much effort. So most likely Brook is just gone after the year.

NOOOOOOO we must keep Brook, he is the most important player for the most important player (Giannis). How much money do we think we will need to sign Brook? Is it possible if we somehow manage to trade Delly or Snell?

If Philly gets Korver that sucks. Really want him. If we can replace Snell with a dead eye shooter like him and DDV with a guy like Collison I think we'd be all set. Still like Donte's potential but he's a net negative if he can't hit wide open jumpers.
