From what I could find roughly 9 million in space from the hard cap. But at this point in Korver's career I think you can throw money out the window.

A chance to play with Giannis and reunite with Bud sounds pretty nice.

that's actually a really good point... on the other hand, sending Russ to a team with Jimmy Butler could be a lovely trojan horse.

He'll get more than vet min. I thin Cousins was just waiting out the Kawhi thing. I would assume he goes to the Lakers, I doubt Kawhi wants him on the team.

Paul George and Kawhi were both under-recruited from outside of Los Angeles and starred in the Mountain West Conference. Now they are All-NBA Superstars on the same team... good for them.

-Team had peaked and they weren't close enough to contend, not a bad time to rebuild
-PG asked for a trade and they didn't want to deal with the distraction it would bring dragging it out (see AD/Lakers)
-They got a king's ransom because the Clippers had to make a move to get Kawhi, they likely wouldn't have gotten a better deal waiting
