Doesn’t that Lakers - Wiz deal give LA even less outside shooting?

Lakers will probably be good but man that's a weird ass team.

Thank god we didn't have to sell our souls to a superstar who's an absolute moron when it comes to playing GM. Lol Lebron.

Was the Hield talk a smokescreen by the Lakers to get Harrell to agree to opt in thinking he was staying in California, only to be traded to the Wizards.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

They dogs.

Westbrook is better off with LeBron than Harden.

Think they're actually kind of scary together. That's a lot of hustle if LeBron comes back in better shape this year. They'll excel with many key things... Pass the ball, penetrate, grab boards, play defense.

I don't like the Lakers. But Westbrook is more likeable than KD.

Wish the Bucks could do that without moving anybody. Exactly who I was dreaming of slotting behind Jrue, earlier this week.

Wolves must have something else in the works to just give Rubio away like that.

I actually think it could (maybe) work with those 3 guys assuming they just get a **** ton of shooters to fill out the roster, but the "How much more help does Lebron need?" memes have never been more accurate. Vogel's already next in his crosshairs if/when they get bounced in the 2nd round, probably.

Did Carter play in the finals? Shamet is a quality player.
Carter fell out of the rotation last year. The issue he ran into is hes basically a wing trapped in a little PG body. Very poor playmaker. So in Phoenix he needed to share the floor with Paul or Payne and doing so phoenix was really small.

But I kind of love his fit for short stretches with a guy like Harden. Let Harden run point and Carter can camp out and shoot 3s on O then guard the opposing PG.

For Phoenix they get a rotation guy for a guy who fell out of the rotation and a pick that probably wouldn't make the rotation. Plus save a little cash and that could be important if they try to stay out of the tax this year with Bridges and Aytons extensions kicking in the following years almost assuring them to be a tax team. Kind of like the bucks this past season in that regard where you don't want to start the repeater penalties too soon.

Any documentation of what Kyrie has/is doing?

This is the thing that came out today. He doesn't talk about any of it publicly. Just helps people. Admirable imo. People are complicated.

Of course it is possible to bring clean water to remote villages, and to not be an insufferable ****.

And the great thing about this from Kyrie's perspective is he can just go to the top of a really tall building and watch the progress himself.

I like this for Cleveland assuming they are picking Mobley. Rubio is a calming presence for an offense and should really help in a young bigs development.

Yes, seems like a really clunky fit to me, and I'm a general Russ supporter. Also giving up their only good shooter in KCP. Maybe they move him again for someone else?

I'm not a Kuzma fan overall, but I do think he has some upside to another team where he's not blocked by the team's two best players playing the same position as him like with LA. Overall this seems like a really smart deal by the Wiz to cash out Russ after recouping some value, other than the fact it probably convinces them to not trade Beal and keep chasing the 6-8 seed. They shouldn't be bad though, competent playoff team. Smart move is to tank, but its tough to knock people for trying to win the best they can.

I'll be the one to say it. Russell Westbrook isn't as bad as people think he is.
