If they added Tillman and/or Konchar would that move the needle for us. I’m going to assume they would send over a couple of their cheap guys to even out that trade anyways

Yeah, I think Konchar would actually be an upgrade over Pat.

We rarely get those calls and I feel he would just pick up technicals here trying to do what he usually does. His offense is so bad that if he doesn't get away with flopping, he is useless.

If he went to the Lakers or something then Smart would be a borderline allstar because of the calls he would get, similar to how he was in Boston. But in Milwaukee or Memphis it's useless.

Definitely something we have to consider. His whistle would be much worse with us and he may not handle that well
We don't try to draw charges. willing to bet we are near the bottom in that area.

No, it's 32 straight makes since the last game he missed one, and he had 16 made in that game, I just don't know the order that they happened.

Like I said, this includes G League (Showcase Cup & Regular season), Preseason, Summer League, College, and NBA.

I looked it up and after missing his last FT of regulation, he was 4-4 in OT. So 36 in a row.

Smart has been a guy I've liked since before he came out, he's a lot better player than say Caruso imo altho he makes twice the money. Him being such a dawg and shameless flopper would probably be more important than his man defense.

So he missed a potential game winner, didn't like it, and decided to never miss again?

Appreciate the intel / informed speculation.

Pat's relationship with both Dame and Giannis certainly comes into the equation I imagine. Also his history stepping up in the playoffs in combination with how he's a versatile wing where we're already in short supply helps too.

Question: how highly you think the team's valuing Bobby these days?

Grizzlies trade: Kennard and draft assets of some kind
Grizzlies receive: Bobby to fill Steven Adams' void

Team TBD trades things to the Bucks
Team TBD receives Kennard and Memphis draft assets

Bucks trade: Bobby
Bucks receive: things we want from team TBD

I know the entire point of this thread is spitballing speculation so I don't mean this to be pissing on that, but I'm gonna bet we roll with what we got for the most part. I'd bet our playoff rotation rounds out with starters + Jae, Bobby, Pat and Cam. Of those rotation dudes, Bobby is the only one I can see making sense but he's such a culture fit guy that I find that hard to believe as well.

If there's a move I'd bet on a smaller move with a young guy but they don't have much value. Just seems to make sense to stand pat this year and retool in the offseason when we have more information on the young guys, the coaching situation and have more assets (picks) at our disposal.

To me, Bobby is a great fit next to JJJ, like perfect. I just wonder if the Grizzlies will make a story term move when they've been so terrible this year.

Completely agree. I think the Bucks are far more likely to add someone via the buyout market than acquiring someone via trade

Lol, I don't think we do. Lillard is averaging 8.5 attempts per game, Giannis 11.3. and top 5 in the league in FTA. We're getting the whistle.

Yeah. How is he going to run his Milwaukee real estate empire from Memphis?

Why not just take Kennard? He would be a great fit on the Bucks.

lol you think we get a good whistle? Watch the fouls on Giannis from the Indiana game. He shot 32 free throws and he probably should have shot 45.

Then watch the whistle any moderate star gets and compare
