It's fun to post about potential deals but some of us have been gently warning of this possibility. It doesn't matter how creative Horst wants to be, at some point there's no way to turn **** into not ****.

Bucks not yet being involved in any small moves makes me think Horst is working on something bigger.

I mean, Portis has SOME value, right? We can't get a competent perimeter defender for him?

We can't turn Pat/young guy and 2nds into a guy who can defend?

Jesus.

That's why I keep posting GSW trades, they are the perfect partner. Trade **** for **** and hope it turns to not ****

The Nets haven't been involved in anything yet either and I do think they're also a logical albiet uninspiring trade partner.

Breathe, gentlemen. We're falling into the 'WHY AREN'T WE TRYING' pit. There's like 4 hours left, and we know Horst has been all over.

Yeah especially if half the roster is untouchable for one reason or another, the only moves possible are going to be marginal at best. Maybe there is a buyout candidate they're interested in.

It's obvious that our assets aren't super valuable but at the same time I'm not exactly seeing a bunch of 1st-round picks flying off the shelves. We probably could have been in on most of these deals if we actually wanted to.

I think we are probably going to find out that Bobby is a lot more valuable than we imagined. Just a shot in the dark guess.

Nets probably shop this one right up to the deadline.

I saw them linked to Murray and I can see how that might make some sense if they want to keep trying to win.

I think theres a slight chance Mikal Bridges is the surprise trade later today. They love him but if someone throws a monster package at them I think they listen.

The Washington Wizards are nearing a deal to send Daniel Gafford to the Dallas Mavericks for Richaun Holmes and draft compensation, sources tell ESPN.

Wow...

THAT will make the dominoes start falling!

That's a great get for Dallas

Yeah, on the other side of these nervous posts about our assets is that a lot of packages are pretty weak.

Golden State would drive Wiggins to Milwaukee if they could get off his contract. They're not asking for more on a return.

Have no idea who he is, but he's either in the UK or Australia. Maybe he's Dean Maniatt having fun.

Do find it interesting though that he posted about the Lopez baby as the reason for Brook's absence. Local media and our broadcast team refused move off the "out for personal reasons".

Inside info our just hope? I just feel like our assets our so weak it seems impossible to get a meaningful contributor.
