Young, not there yet; an entire categorical difference as far as NBA potential. You're talking weak, weak hopes versus stop-me hoops. Denialism will leave the Bucks putting a 47yo Giannis on the floor, alone, with nobody left to ignore but has-been free agent point guards he won't let handle the ball. --Oh, I see, you're still just Big Mad about Dunn. He has to get there before we can say we 'hit on the pick'. You're looking end-stage; we're not talking about 7years from now. 'We hit on the pick at this stage of development; given what we know, so far.' Not hard to grasp.

Not hard to grasp. He is putting up mediocre stats in G league and not going to crack the line up this year because he got beat out by Rollins Ajax and Green for potential minutes. It’s important to understand that I like his potential but I’ve exhausted this conversation because the deal is done.

Let me ask assuming we did this solely to get out of the Midds opt in and get under the second apron, are you choosing AJ Green, Ajax or AJJ or the 31 1st as the compensation? They obviously didn’t view Marjon as value, so which young player or pick are you giving up? I think the answer is clear, AJJ or Ajax (to me)

That's tough though because AJAX is starting which at minimum makes him a rotation player for this and next year's playoff run.. that's our window rn

WAS needed a reason to make the deal other than kindness. Had to be someone I guess.

This is why I love this board. Huge Bucks move and I can come here and discuss it with dozens of Bucks fans. I don't agree with all of the takes but it's been a good discussion. Beats the (mostly) dumb hosts and random callers on local radio.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Doesn’t really open things up at all imo, Bobby is better shooter and rebounder and Kuzma is probably better switching but both kinda suck on that end. Together would just be a clown show. Maybe Kuzma/Lopez would be better than Portis/Lopez

Play style.. dudes that stop the ball stifle the chaos that GA and Dame need.. we needed uptempo fast break guys .. trade Pat/ BP for another 1 and Doc proof the lineup.. like just take away Doc's ability to keep the wrong slow guy on the floor.

Sure it's the not end-all stat, but man:

https://dunksandthrees.com/epm/actual

Kuzma: 410th out of 466 NBA players in total EPM (10th percentile offensively)

So Middleton 34M next year and Kuzma 41M over the next two years. 13M cash savings on next years books…I think that it was probably a mix of that plus wondering if Kuz could regain his role player form playing with Dame and Giannis. I’ll add in that Kuz appears to play like 90% of games over his career, but time is going to tell on this one.

Is the big snow on 1250 wssp still around? I moved away 10 years ago but the Bucks takes there were always awful.

Asking why the Bucks would even draft AJJ... they probably thought of the late 1st as kind of a lotto ticket - ala Giannis.. and now we traded that "maybe" for someone that has proven to be a successful role player on a championship team. Whoever else we drafted there might not be getting rotation minutes away from our current AJs or Rollins anyways

Frankly amazed that he's that high given his underlying numbers this year.

All our guys that are slow and just want to give hugs on the court (Pat, Lopez) need to go to a rebuilding team. Needed tatted up dudes with mean mugs here.

Please be right. '31 1st goes too of course.

Expand to include Portis for something (Brooks?).

MarJon Beauchamp. That was an absolute idiotic pick. I felt it the moment the name was read, but so many people liked his back story it dampened the criticism. That pick needed to be dealt with Pat or Bobby for a better player. Total wipeout of a selection.

To be fair have you looked at the remainder of the 1st round after our pick. I will hang up and listen

What about Myles Turner? He seems like a shiny big that could do some serious damage to our opponents with Giannis also on the court, but also while he's off. I think he'd fit really well with Dame too. Especially since rumors are he doesn't want to stay with Indy.

Guess the hope would be it looks a bit more like 2023 when they still had Porzingis and Beal. They were regular bad then, not historically bad.

He was 89th in EPM, and 3rd on the wizards behind the above group.

Peyton Watson, Andrew Nembhard and Jaylin Williams would all look pretty good instead of Beauchamp. And I know all 3 of those guys had big fans here. I know I loved Jaylin Williams, not that he's great, but he's a hell of a lot better than Beauchamp.

Would love that. Would give up the 2031 if needed but would be greedy for Dillon Brooks.

Point is it’s really **** hard to draft in the nba much less the 20s.
