This is where I sometimes take a slight issue with Giannis. I know he uses all this as leverage to pressure the front office into having some urgency but in return he could publicly do a little more to squash all the speculation.

He definitely sounded like he did not want to answer that question.

He's protecting himself by being non-committal. If he says "yes for the rest of my career" he would look like he's going back on his word if he left. It makes tons of sense.

Is it wrong that I’ve never heard of Speed before today?

He doesn't have to commit to anything for the rest of his career but he could say "I plan to be in Milwuakee next season and as long as they remain committed to maximizing our chances to win I'm happy there" or something to that effect.

I've heard of him but this was the first time I've caught any of his stream. Lasted about 2 minutes before I turned it off. Just obnoxious kids being kids. I don't think Giannis will want to be a streamer after today

Not really. As if he recruited Turner to play there without him. And Shams said he was monitoring the 47th pick.

But unfortunately Giannis being a little sly is going to be the fodder ESPN needs, & that's where PP's "ugh" is apropos.

I honestly think it's hilarious that people think he's playing some sort of 4D chess all the time. At what point, after being asked about staying with the company for the millionth time, would even regular joes like us go "**** man, yeah probably? Can we talk about something else for once?"

I don't think Giannis was trying to be slick with his response. Probably just didn't want to bring too much attention to the topic for the thousandth time.

I went back to Speeds stream because I wanted to see if Giannis was still with him and he was inviting Speed to Milwaukee for a game this year an hour after he gave his initial response, so it seems like Milwaukee is already in his mind as his answer when he's not being grilled about it.

Ask yourself what would flip him from probably to no at this point. He just avoids absolutes.

I absolutely buy the 4d chess concept. i feel its very possible that Giannis has told Horst that he wants to retire here and that they are working together to manipulate the league into thinking the relationship is more Lebronlike

I heard the clip on the radio this morning when he said "probably, we'll see" when asked if he'd be back in Milwaukee. Thanks for posting the whole thing.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, I figured his first response is the one that will get the clickbait and airwave time but didn't want this to go unnoticed. When he's not being asked directly and being put on the spot, he usually gives a more candid and genuine response.

for being a massive irl streamer, he's actually one of the few that isn't completely toxic. still super young but he's a pretty good dude all things considered, which is a nice change for the age of his core audience

It sure beats having Giannis on Joe Rogan

 Definitely. He's basically gone around the world over the last year or two and hung out with athletes

And for good measure, here's Giannis at the end of his appearance on stream telling Speed to come to MILWAUKEE to catch a game again. But everyone will ignore it and hang on the probably quote.
