Nah, the problem with the Suns is your owner is Sarver. At the end of the day, he's going to meddle and screw things up.

The Suns needed to tank last year and end up with one of those top 7 guys like Gordon or Smart. Hornacek was just too good a coach and Bledsoe came on. The Suns then became one of those stuck in the middle teams.

I'm hoping the Bucks aren't repeating that right now.

No doubt Sarver is a problem. There was some hope that he was learning from past mistakes but now who knows. If he truly vetoes any Goran trades today out of anger and spite then it proves once and for all he's a complete **** idiot. Kind of makes me wonder if McDonough tried trading Goran before and got vetoed. Choosing Bledsoe over Goran was/is 100% the right choice. Not moving Goran before he threw a temper tantrum was the mistake here.

You keep saying the Suns and this years Bucks "should have tanked". Are you suggesting they not show up for the games or only have guys shoot with their off hands or maybe take 40 half court shots a game? Last year the Suns traded their established vets in Dudley, Gortat, and Scola for Bledsoe and 1st round picks. They went rebuild but just so happened to play well; short of straight up self sabotage what the hell else can you do? They even resisted the temptation to make a win now move last deadline.

This years the bucks are pretty much in the same boat and as long as they don't make some dumb win now trade in the next few hours I can live with how the season goes even if they bow out in the 1st round.

Barton and Robinson aren't capped out on their potential. Denver just added 4 potential future pieces of their team, pieces that can also net them something else, with the 1st/2nd and those two.

Clearing Ersan should be goal 1.
If assets and expiring come along for Mayo, should be goal 2.
If you can acquire a young center to grow with core without giving up our first this year, should be goal 3.
If you can't do any of 1-3, just make a move to get a guy like Plumlee for either the Clippers 1st or 2 2nds.
