mmmmmkay.

He's looked pretty **** atrocious. I'd obviously still throw him into the D-League or the end of the bench to learn, but man he looks bad.

Yeah, I've been reading the updates you guys have been providing on the Summer League games. It certainly doesn't sound encouraging, but it's 3 summer league games. Just seems like he might need a little more of an adjustment period. I didn't expect him to contribute this year, but I definitely think he can be a rotation player easily.

If we were going to get Rondo I think we would need a commitment to sign an extension right away to ensure he would be on board

I think we have to trade one of Ersan or Udoh. We just don't have the talent at the swing positions to justify having so many bigs fighting each other for scraps of minutes.

Knight and Stuckey would absolutely be meh acquisitions though.

Then again there is probably a similar chance that Stuckey picks it up in his contract year here compared to OJ Mayo turning how whole career around right after he had an awful contract year. And Brandon Knight can't be as bad as Jennings.

I agree but I don't have any confidence of the Bucks thinking strategically like that. They are probably thinking "hey he has a couple years left, lets see how it goes and then we will re-sign him in the ordinary course of business." Me personally, I would immediately make it clear to him that we want him to run the team, sign him to an extension, and essentially give him the keys. I think the poster who made the comments about Rondo/Mayo was spot on. I also think Larry would get 4-5 easy baskets/lobs a game. If Giannis hits like we all hope, that would be a really interesting, potentially well-balanced team who could do damage and possibly turn into a contender if the roster is augmented with proper talent along the way ( ).

What was the gist of the post about Rondo / Mayo that you're referring to?

The discussion of Rondo's health has scared me off from him a bit, but if his body would hold up and if he wouldn't pull a Vince Carter act to get out of town then he could be the kind of star that we never have here.

Ted and Sparky were talking about this deal before the blogger showed up.

Seems like a perfect Hammond deal. He gets Stuckey AND Knight and then figures he has his win now with upside.

Then the Pistons make the deal and later sign Beno to take the place of Stuckey.

Knight isn't starting if we're gunning for the playoffs. Combine rumors and let's get BOS in this. Let's get Rondo and Green to MIL, Jennings and change to DET then Knight, picks and expirings to BOS.

Detroit doesn't cut out Milwaukee why?

I never understood the culture of basketball that getting dunked on is such disgraceful thing. It usually means 2 things:
1. You teammate is a horrible defender for putting you in that position.
2. You have the balls to try to make a play

Getting dunked on 9 out of 10 times is better if you get 1 stop than letting the guy go without a fight.

I don't think Rondo gets traded, Ainge values him too highly.

You should see what Bos fans want for Rondo, their value is comically high.

I bet if a hypothetical offer of Henson + Ilaysova + 2014 lottery protected for Rondo was offered, at least 75% would decline and/or say we would need to take on some bad contracts/add more picks

Same. I support aggressive defense and sometimes it happens.

I bet the level of protection on that pick is insane, if it's a first.

They're right to value Rondo highly, he's a special player. If they weren't in blow-it-up tank mode and he wasn't coming off an ACL, with a young, green, college coach coming in, I don't think you even have a chance at him no matter what you offer.

I think it would take Jennings/Henson/1st to get him. If you could get good protection on the first, I think it would be worth it. Many will likely disagree.

I have been and still am an advocate of moving Ersan for pick(s), but in this instance, I take Ilyasova over Henson if Rondo is running it. Rondo/Mayo/Giannis/Ilyasova/Sanders is a very interesting team.

Ekpe seems unhappy being a Buck. I'm reading into this, something's definitely going down. [tweet]https://twitter.com/EkpeUdoh/status/356991457539788801[/tweet]

I'd do Knight, Singler, and a pick for Baddy.
