Btw, I'm amazed to find another Bucks/Orioles fan. O's are my 2nd favorite baseball team - unfortunately.

I do not see Merrill and Allen in the same league athletically. And that’s the issue with Merrill. Also, Allen had some big games last year for Memphis. I’d deal 31 for him fast.

Sorry, I've just never been at all impressed with Allen, and athletically - he's probably in the bottom 5% of the NBA. I'd certainly never play him in a key situation. What they both can do is shoot - period.

Thats all valid but Merrill does not belong on the court with nba players from an athletic standpoint. Allen can at least function. Merrill couldnt even bring the ball up the court when they picked him up at 3/4. He had to turn his back to the guy and shield the ball. It was enbarrassing.

Merrill can shoot. Thats it.

Gonna go on the record that I have no opinion on who specifically we should take because I didn't watch a lick of prospect film this year. I'd like a good ball handler, someone who can make plays. Seems like an obvious deficit on the team. If that's not available, I'd be intrigued by a really young (possibly foreign) lottery ticket. We got three older dudes who may be relied on as contributors in 2022 last offseason. Who is the opposite of that?

So those of you who know about this class, who might I like as a ball handling playmaker or young ass lotto ticket that could be available in our range?

I mean... that's certainly a weakness, and he shouldn't ever play PG, but neither should Allen.

Ball handling playmaker: Sharife Cooper
Young ass lotto ticket: JT Thor (possibly foreign: Vrenz or Juhann Begarin)

I’d put Springer in the young ass lotto ticket cat also

My lotto ticket is Isaiah Todd. Not sure if he has been talked about here, but he has the tools as a mobile, athletic, stretch big. I think he gets taken around our pick. Ultimately, I think we're looking at NBA ready guys though, and not development projects.

Considering Shamet was the guy who allowed us to play Forbes, this is a good deal for Brooklyn.

Brooklyn with 5 picks tonight?

I kind of like this Duane Washington Jr guy if we don't address PG and end up buying another pick.

Love you Ruz, but you should read this article on Allen's combine numbers. They were closer to TOP 5% of the prospects that year.

Feeling like this is 2008 and I'm back advocating for Hammond to draft one of the Lopez twins, but facing board headwinds because people questioned the whole "Disney" thing. 8-)

Fair enough - I've been wrong before - actually a lot of times. I can't lie - I dislike the guy quite a bit for his antics at Duke and would never want him on my team.

I don't like the literal dirty tricks he pulls. It's bad team karma.

There's a difference between Giannis going for a board with Kyrie landing at his feet & Grayson kicking his legs out to trip people.

Really feel like we need a solid lead guard, playmaker type. I know those don't just grow on trees, but we need somebody who can steady that second unit more than Jeff Teague's corpse (who I think might honestly be back anyways).

You got me all excited about Cooper, thinking he was a diamond in the rough, then i see he's being mocked in the teens.

Thanks for the tease!

Can’t even really see him playing much in Phoenix with the wings they have in front of him.

For the #31 of the NBA 2021 Draft ... The RealGM Milwaukee Bucks Fotis St GM ,selects ....

1) Jaden Springer
2) Quentin Grimes
3) Joe Wieskamp

That's my picks for this year. Due to work and family obligations I didn't have the time to scout the top15 players , I scouted about 20+ projected ... Good Luck Champs ... I love you all

PS Stop the Merrill waive talk. He is an expiring and one of our best 3p shooters. By your standards Joe Ingles shouldn't be an NBA player too. I curious to see both Nwora and Merrill on their contract year.
