Aren't Wall and Boogie close? I could be mis-remembering.

Edit: I answered my own question. They are very close.

Sure, add Wall as well. I'd like to see all the reactions on the GB if Boogie and Wall show they can still play when they share the court with Giannis.

Wall can still get to the rim and pass, he's just not a floor spacer or efficient scorer. Put up 23 points and almost 8 assists per 36 last year.

Loving that jersey swap! Holiday/Wall/Hill? Pretty damn good PG rotation.

Robinson was fine for what he was and I thought he handled himself capably. Just too small and doesn't excel in any area enough to offset that deficit. Smart is less of a pure point but does have good size and is young enough to have untapped development.

No way, Hill's been great. Hill and Jrue together shred on both ends.

Hill's been awesome, no idea why anyone would want Wall replacing his minutes. Listing the Bucks seems like another classic "just throw another contender on there to show that I'm all about winning" type move by his agent.

They had a few nice connections last year when they were starters too. Now imagine having them do that to lesser bench players?

Holiday - Wall
Allen - Divincenzo
Middleton - Connaughton
Antetokounmpo - Portis
Lopez - Cousins

Hill has definitely been good and picking it up. But it wouldn't hurt to have another option incase Hill turns into a pumpkin again.

Not saying I'm against Wall, btw. Just against replacing Hill. Would like be able to swing from 3 guard lineups to 3 big lineups. And Wall's passing alone would be absolutely welcome.

Wait, people are complaining about the Boogie addition? Seriously?

Wall would be more of a replacement for Donte as opposed to Hill, right?

George is already clocking too many minutes for this point of the season.

If we were to pick up Wall that would make it easy to deal Donte, perhaps after a few games showcasing that he’s healthy.

The Bucks signed Moses Malone when I was in middle school. That was huge.

Same. There was a list of your favorite non Giannis bucks thread a few months ago. He was on my honorable mention list.

But he was the best player on the team (as i recall, being the youngin that I was) . This guy is kind of a ring chaser. I'm not used to a guy like that wanting to sign to Milwaukee for nothing.
Cousins is a roster spot chaser. I'm not sure he is in a position to be choosy.

An acquisition of Wall would allow no qualms in trading DiVo for a big 3&D. We'd have guard #'s at both spots then. The writing was on the wall (no pun intended). We won a title w/out the dude, & we need to ink too many others in offseason. Just play DiVo a little to demonstrate he can still do it, before acting.

These #'s bring hope:

Catch and shoot 3s:

2018-19
37.3%

2017-18
43.8

2016-17
35.9

2015-16
38.4

Reduce the role to those types of 3's, d, rebounds, secondary passing.

Bucks have to look at clubs like Warriors and think they're already balling before they return Klay & Wiseman. Their fresh quality vs. our tired version wasn't a fun prospect.

I think there’s plenty of backcourt mins to go around but still you might be right about Wall posturing about the Bucks more so than actually being interested.

If Wall’s gripe with Houston is he isn’t starting then he might insist on replacing Allen, which would be different than cutting into Hill / Donte kind of minutes, especially if it’d involve taking the ball out of Jrue’s hands.

Seems like with the Clippers or Heat it’d be easier to play bigger minutes also in a glamour market.

Also did I miss a follow up report, or is NBA Twitter confusing the Bucks “eyeing the situation” with Wall (1:20 mark) if he gets bought out to mean Wall is specifically interested in those 3 teams?

It would be to put you at ease, because you said you had qualms if we just dealt Donte w/ no point replacement.

Lopez/Cousins
Freak/Portis
3&d/Pat
$$/Allen
Jrue/Wall/Hill

It would finally be balance and decent depth, in addition to strong front end quality.

Concur to let DiVo return 1st to showcase. Could be tricky to navigate if Wall would arrive soon, however.

Moses was certainly the best flat-footed rebounder of all time. He was like the anti-Anthony Mason in terms of twilight-of-the-career Bucks big men acquisitions, and I agree he made a huge contribution when here, although to move the needle all the way back then required more than even Moses could do.

I hope Boogie gives us half of what Moses did, because if he does this will be a big win.
