Didn't Lamelo score 20 ppg on the NBL at the same age?

His NBL rookie season he was left to do whatever he wanted with all the turnovers and misses to go with it. Like a high pick on a tanking team. Opposite situation to what our guy had.

Ball showed a lot of project able skills that season but he was kinda ****. Wasn't a patch on Joe Ingles' rookie season in Australia.

Lemelo averaged 17 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 6.8 apg with only 2.5 turnovers per game. He shot poorly, but was otherwise dominant.

Come on man, you really do yourself no credit looking at stat lines and declaring how a guy did. Why can't you just talk basketball instead of this nonsense arguing style you run?

After mulling it, I like the pick, though I initially wanted someone to immediately contribute

So he did a bunch things that you want to do, but that's bad? Was the scorekeeper hiding turnovers or something?

Not sure we've had a player like him in a while. He's very quick, and quite athletic.

Imma put him future all star for the lols

I would have said the same thing about Duval. Probably isn't the same shooter though.

My memory from watching was that he put up stats on a bad team.

Those numbers are good, but they look a bit like an MCW stat line, too (I am definitely not comparing the two, just making a point about stats)

After hearing he played primarily off the ball in IBL, then watching him play on the ball at Combine, I feel better about him.

Looking forward to Summer League.

Way to double down champ. I guess this is just your kink afterall. Have fun with it.

Having now intently watched him in those combine games, going to throw this one out there: Tony Parker without Tony Parker's signature floater. I hope he can keep the whole "makes other professional athletes look like they're running in mud" quality as he gets stronger.

Maxey learned how to do this and it allowed him to seriously expand his game. Even if AJ can't shoot like Maxey or Trae, having that floater would be huge since it appears like he'll have no issue getting to the rim. I'd have him doing a million of those a day.

so heres how i look at it. if we dont blow it up then 3 years from now....

AJJohnson
AJGreen/ AJax
Livingston/ Marjon
Giannis/ Tyler
center type easiest to find

dame/khris/brook/pat on cheap legacy deals if they take them

and......massive amounts of cap flexibility

lets hope the two new guys develop into core pieces. we dont need them to help now. we need them to be helpful when the current group is all eating applesauce and giannis is still a buck with some good years left

keeping giannis longterm we have to go with upside and not limit ourselves with trying to find nifty little help now role players from our drafts. we can find them anytime in FA if we get off this horrid cap situation

anyway... as a bucks fan who intends to pull for the team for life i like the two we got. long term they both seem like there could be something there

They can't stop investing in the future core, because that's still a non-contender even if AJ Johnson hits. None of the other players have core potential. They need to find a way into the next 1st rd. And nugget hunt, like we did w/ Khris.

we just need 1 more guy to hit. we need our maxey. then with cap flexibility and compiled small assets you can make the trade for the other big fish.

if you draft role player types youre not helping much now or the future
