I just don’t see the point in even being tempted to make Docs job anymore difficult by gift wrapping him someone he has to use his brain to figure out what’s best for the team. I also don’t see Brook being useful enough moving forward to justify paying him any type of money that could turn into a more usable and flexible asset. I still say not trading him at the deadline was a huge miss. Even having an extra 2nd round pick last Thursday night and a direction with a little more flexibility now was such a great idea 4 months ago.
He’s a great Buck and it was fun for a good while but business is business and Brook is headed towards Hakeem Olajuwon on the Raptors status and there’s no money in that.
Not trading him 3 years ago when he still had value but anyone who watched the games saw he was already unplayable in the playoffs at that point. Horst is at best a C+ GM so many mistakes holding onto guys way way too long.
Also Ayton & Wiggins are the literal opposite of what we should be going after. Low BBIQ lazy players, I thought we were trying to win games? I'd rather play any young guy over those 2 turds.
