Only thing that worries me with Bledsoe is getting another guy with knee problems. Otherwise, we really nailed that trade. Hope it’s a sign of things to come with Horst.

He posted this yesterday.

The deal was reportedly all but done last night.

Yeah, still, a lot more people think it's about Kyrie and Boston winning 9 straight, along with his team's struggles.

90% of the time I'd agree. There will be some fairly serious problems though if there aren't changes made. I'm thinking playoffs here mostly.

Imagine if playoff Thon AND playoff Henson show up this year

Nice move, this is freakin exciting. I guess this means we will drop Liggins or Terry for a cheap big C.

What does this mean for Jabari, how do they sign him with no cap space?

Stepped away for a couple hours, holy **** those protections! Anyone who's dismissive of their significance is dense. If we keep our '18/'19 picks, even with the difficulty of mining for talent in the back half of Rd. 1, getting to take the chance is huge.

And that Monroe clip hurts. We talk about these guys mercilessly with no regard for the personal side of it. Despite all the rumors that have hung over him forever now, it's gotta sting finally having the other shoe drop. Glad that he's a pending FA and can control his next career move whilst still in his prime. With how he handled the situation here, Bucks fans shouldn't harbor any resentment, and hopefully when Phoenix visits he gets a show of appreciation.

I don't hate the trade. It will be nice having another guy who can create his own shot when Giannis has an off-night or is being double teamed on every look.

I just wish we could have included any Delly or Telly to bring Chandler back.

id keep Bledsoe on the bench (iknowmostdontwantthatanditwonthappen)
keep the starters together,
then, wed have a great scorer off the bench.
then, jabari returns and makes the bench fantastic

Brogdon - Bledsoe
Snell - ............. - Liggins
Midds - Jabari
Giannis - Jabari
Henson - Thon - X?

I, too, feel bad for Monroe. He wanted to be here. Perhaps, more so, he wanted to be on a winner. Now he's headed to Phoenix. He deserved better but that's life.

Yea that Monroe clip should be shown anytime some idiot fans bashes a player for not being loyal to remind them that it works the opposite direction way more often and it's all a business

Wake me up when Horst manages to trade a non-NBA player for an actual NBA player. Luckily for him, the Bucks have about 8 of them.

Moose was a good guy. He played damn hard last year for the team.

That said the NBA industry has passed him by. But he's got $51 million to drown his sorrows in.

Someone needs to start the Moose appreciation thread.

Another positive thing about this trade is a team like the Knicks or Pistons didn't get Bledsoe. Going to be competing against those teams for playoff positioning.

Tell me how bad you feel for Monroe when he signs with the Warriors next year on a vet's minimum. The big guy will be fine.

Read the Suns board. More entertaining. Most are upset they didn't get two #1's or a real player.

Let's go ahead and not promote users to read a foreign board for 'entertainment' of their frustration. I know not all of you are bad but we've gotten some Bucks trollers because of it.
As a mod you should know better than that...

TERRIBLE!

Monroe should have went back in the 2016 draft, for Boston's mid and late 1st rnd pick

A terrible 1990s Herb Kohl Move.

I see this team getting smaller and smaller & relying on a guard all the time if they don't get horst up outta here soon.

Moving Monroe is great & all but when u have a defensive, passfirst tall athletic(he'd love them as a jumpshooter too) wing at the pointguard type of coach in J kidd, your only slowing down progress in bringing in a guy like Bledsoe.

He is a smaller semi-healthier version of Brandon knight.

If they start him over Brogdon, they're screwed. He needs to be no more than an energy player off the bench to Brogdon.

If they can get Cleveland's 1st round to up Bledsoe, they should go for it.

Since they'll be stopping in San Antonio on Friday, let's unload Delly for Danny Green.

Too many point guards/small players on this team, is taking them back to a bad era in time.

All this small ball talk.

Look, what are they gonna do when teams like Minnesota get their ish together and add another big man like a cousins to their roster?

If the warriors or cavs added a d howard to the roster on a vet minimum?

All that small ball talk is gonna be outta the window soon.

Why do u think Miami couldn't win all four finals in a row?

Because the Spurs & Mavs had legit active bigs.

Lakers 3 peat.

They had Shaq.

Only reason why the warriors & cavs keep going back to the finals is because all of the top bigs in the league are not on championship teams yet.

The bucks are not gonna do it with small ball.

Never have never will.

Ask Kareem.

What they need is more versitale bigs/top class rim protectors. That and an occasional jumpshooter/big wing player who can pass when needed and shoot when open.

And meddle not with small ball /small guards and undersized one way bigs/ the thought concepts their of.

You couldn't be more wrong. This is a white hot dog (on the left obviously).

This is an awesome read, not surprised on what his source said about Kidd

What does this say for those of us trapped at work?

Talks a lot about the risks of Bledsoe, has a total of 1/2 meniscus in both knees......but the interesting part is his source said firing Kidd has never even been brought up amongst the ownership group and not on the table

I'm happy about the trade, but will miss Monroe if only because he's been quite the trooper throughout his tenure with the Bucks. I doubt he wanted to come off the bench, but he did so willingly and seemed like a good teammate. It sucks his signing didn't have the impact many envisioned, but we're still getting value out of it.
