First thought on the Herd’s TC roster: damn that’s A LOT of guards

2nd thought: This Herd team is small ball all the way

And: Congrats to my man Tyler Nelson! Drafted 3rd overall. Silky silky smooth offensive game. Vastly underrated at every stop. Continues to prove he belongs. Wishing him the best.

Nah his brother had a bad experience coming off the bench for Sioux Falls about a decade ago. Can’t imagine he’s still playing professionally.

Nope. MAAC legend and Fairfield University’s all-time leading scorer.

Seems like an intruiging roster worth following

Duval, Morris, McCoy, Barnett, Young all intruige me to varying degrees
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

McCoy is absolutely terrible and I've got zero hope for him, but the other guys have some promise. Travis Trice could end up being Tim Frazier-lite at some point.

Travis Trice is going to be one of the top three G-league point guards. Does a lof of really good things on both sides of the ball. Couple more inches he’s a definite NBA player. Think he’s a potential fringe guy and certainly high level Euro player. He and Young will be filling it up.

If Frazier could shoot like Trice, Frazier would be making a lot of money in the NBA.

I mean, he’s already done pretty well for himself as an undrafted G-league call up. Six years of NBA paychecks. The two inches he has on Trice is why Trice hasn’t made any NBA money yet.

Oh shoot Mike Qualls. I wanted him as a second round pick when he came out. I think Supreme pointed out all my comparisons for Qualls were guys with dreadlocks. I've had better moments.

james young back is pretty cool. trice and mccoy on the roster is also cool moves.

think we'll have a good squad this year once duval is healthy.

When I read up on when the Bucks signed him, it showed two years of service time... I think he ended 2015 on some 10-day contracts and played full time the last two years for New Orleans and Washington.

In those two years, he put up some amazingly bad shooting numbers... That's why I referenced his shooting ability and how much money he could be making if he should shoot the ball like Trice.

Yeah, Young is a hell of a Gleaguer... I like McCoy too, he has some tools, but I don't know if he'll contribute this year. He's been over matched by NBA talent so far, which is OK, he just turned 20 in the summer.

Five years* counting this season with the Pelicans. Would definitely be helped by an extended range, just think it speaks well to the positives in his game that he's been able to stick in the league for half a decade.

Have to imagine Wilson will be with the Herd to start their season. Looking like one of the best guys in the G-league would be a huge step for his development.

No such thing!... :D

This year I like how they have a couple lottery ticket prospects on the roster with Duval and McCoy, with Duval the much better prospect.

Herd pretty much tanked after the Sixers plucked Young from the team mid-season. Glad to see that he's back for that G-league MVP run.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
