Can’t believe you’re trying to bait me with Pero Antic slander on this special week. As I said a year ago, Pero was good for Bud. Much better than Robin.

I was always a big Pero fan so how dare you confuse this for slander. Sadly, a serviceable playoff big he was not, though.

In
2.7 / 7.2 @ 37%
2.0 / 5.7 @ 35%

Total 4.7 / 12.9 @ 36%

Out
1.2 / 3.5 @ 34%
1.4/ 3.0 @ 46%

Total 2.6 / 6.5 @ 40%

I don't think those Hill numbers are sustainable. They certainly were not in the bubble. Not to mention, the much lower volume and that Bled's playoff 3P% was in the 20s. Regular season and playoff Bledsoe are two totally different players.

The reason why we overpaid for Jrue.

Appears Bledsoe was slightly less of a negative asset than Gordon if you assume GMs would rather have immediate draft picks and help instead of picks five and seven years from now.

Hope James Johnson gets bought out and is targeted by the Bucks.

Or because NO values Hill and Bledsoe.

Hill and Bledsoe have smaller salaries and are thus easier to consolidate into other assets. For a team like New Orleans who should be in a developmental timeline, that's more useful than Hayward, even if Hayward has far more utility to a team who wants to win.

I believe you’re referring to Holiday Styles and he last played for the D Block Ruff Ryders.

I thought he was part of that English boy band.

I think that’s Jonas Holiday, lead singer of Wrong Direction.

I'm in, but only for more Rodzilla.

I would be happy if they picked up Baynes. We could really use a bruiser.

Dj Augustine should be our backup PG. Bud and Horst should’ve saw enough of him in the bubble to know he can be very valuable and every bit as good, potentially better, than Hill in the same role... just my 2 cents on the back up PG situation. Teague would suffice but Augustine is better imho.

Also, Jerami Grant declined his option, he’s also someone I’d be very much interested in taking a run at. Gallinari is the obvious choice of mine too but he’s likely more expensive and will get a better deal from another contender.

Are the numbers out yet on BB, he has to come with a new extension in a S&T right? Did we save any cap space in those trades or anything like that? I’m not the most savvy cap person...

Young players who aren’t filthy rich aren’t going to take a pay cut to chase a ring..they want as much money as they can.

Lots of minutes to be had now as 6-10th men in Buds system, a 1 year deal on a championship team might do wonders for a future contract....Vonleh and Harkless would be great guys to get...

Let me fill out the roster... someone said that we need a PF as a 6th man that can get in even when Giannis plays the 5 ... well there are 2 players that I like... Saric and Jabari Parker.... As for the Center position ... Kornet should be targeted , Hartenstein as a super mobile 5 and Noah Vonleh. Maybe get Semi Ojeleye for the "Crowder role" . And PG Jerian Grant pls , I always liked his court vision and his length.

Regardless of the thoughts on the value of the trades, the FO has a plan and is executing it. Horst seemed exceedingly calm in his interview yesterday. That gives me a lot of confidence that Giannis is involved and everything is on track.

I have liked Vonleh a lot for a while. Unlikely we have enough to sign Ibaka with the full MLE but he would be a great fit. Still want some frontcourt athleticism or playmaking/shooting in the backcourt. That's not easy to find but feeling good about the FO.
