Resident Evil Village walks a VERY tight line between being interesting and fair enough for me to keep playing, and just having enough of the bullsh*t and putting it away.

Ratchet and Clank looks just incredible. I know I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but seriously, holy ****.
Also, I haven't even heard of this game before, but this looks really intriguing.

Anyone gonna pick up the new Mass Effect game? I never played a minute of the series.

Are you grabbing it on PC? I am real interested in grabbing it, but kind of want to wait out and see how it’s running, maybe grab it during a sale.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

ME3 ending was hilariously terrible.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I just finished play throughs of ME1 and ME2 a few months ago, but I'm still going to pick up the remaster and play again when my Xbox series X comes later this month. Some of my favorite games ever.
For ME3 I actually thought the ending was fine, but didn't enjoy the game as much as the others because the tone just got so suffocatingly dark. I mean, I get it from a plot perspective, but I remember it became a slog for me. I think I only finished it once, when I played the first two many times each.

I feel like someone here went to bat for ME Andromeda (Ron Swanson maybe?). I might even check that out again after I replay the others.

I am. From what I've heard so far, PC is the smoothest experience as the framerate is uncapped and people have gotten some great numbers from higher-end machines, but it sounds pretty good on PS5 too (and I presume XSX).
PC for me, though, both for potential modding and I'll be travelling a bit in the upcoming couple months now.

Didn't they kind of fix it with the DLC? I never played the DLC from any of them, so excited to see what's offered there.
I didn't think it was quite as bad as other did, IIRC. And the game itself was still great (though not as great as ME2, which is **** legendary).

Think something with the Legendary Edition or something fixed it.

Very excited for ME Legendary Edition - haven't played any of the ME3 DLC, and just generally excited to revisit one of the best RPG series of all-time.

Well this looks pretty damn interesting. Director is a vet of the team that made Symphonia, Abyss, and Vesperia, and he directed Xillia 2.

I never touched Mass Effect until after I was done with Dragon Age Inquisition. Went back and played through all of it. Was pretty fun.

Mass effect trilogy is my favorite gaming thing ever made, I am an enormous fan, I will grab it for sure, but I dont have a job right now, so I am hesitating.

Oh yeah. Bad reviews, bad sales. They didn’t even give it DLC.

I suppose me saying that it's a fine enough game on its own (after they patched the **** out of it) qualifies as me defending it lol. Don't even disagree with the people that say it was a MASSive (hehe) disappointment given what it had to live up to. I will say that I still think it had the best combination of combat mechanics and open world exploration in the entire franchise (think Mass Effect 1 but with better physics and gunplay). But the story and characters are such a huge part of the series and let's just say......they're extremely lacking.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
Yeah. Mass Effect Andromeda became a fine game that was utterly forgettable. Which considering the series name is inexcusable. If it weren't named Mass Effect, nobody would've talked about it and it would be buried at the bottom of clearance bins everywhere (not that it isn't already) - the fact it's nothing special that basically killed the future of Mass Effect (though surely sales of the Legendary Edition will prompt EA to revisit the series) is what really damns it.

Alright, Mass Effect is downloading. Gonna play this one on the PS5 and have a nice go between my two consoles and play it, Wasteland 3, Returnal, and Resident Evil in a nice little rotation.
