I don't think Felix has enough in the tank physically to win this in 5 anyway but he's incredibly unlucky to be down a break instead of up a break in the 4th here.

Any recommendations?

I assume you already blocked off a morning where you buy a cheap basketball, play on the Giannis court and then go to the cafe to look at memorabilia? If not, as a Bucks fan it is cool side quest and probably my favorite part of going to Athens. See a different area of the city instead of where there is mass tourism.

Yep, might just be me and my Tobes but this is a must. Also the way things are going we might get some EuroBasket fun in too.

Will hopefully be scoping out sports bars in a few days.

I’ve decided I’m going to start making Chipotle burritos at home. $16 for a damn burrito is offensive.

I found a decent recipe, but always love hearing your guys thoughts. Specifically on the tortilla.

Always hate how the us open mens final is competing directly with nfl sunday, either week 1 or 2. Can they really not move it back a week?

Haven’t been able to watch US Open. Is Sinner playing like crap? Stats seem a bit odd and the set scores are very uneven.

Had to double-check, but Alcaraz - now tied with Nadal - has the second-most slams all time before turning 23 (6). Arbitrary age in the grand scheme of things, but noteworthy because of where Alcaraz is at. Borg had 7; Carlos has only the AO as a chance to tie him.

Crazy though that he could win one slam every year for the next 16 years and still be 2 behind Djokovic. I suppose when he gets to ten (maybe in 2 years) you start having the all time conversation.

We moved back to the 414 about a month ago. It's been nice being back, for the most part. Of course, there's lots to love about Madison, but Milwaukee has always felt more like home to me. I feel as though I understand the vibe here and jibe with it a bit more than I did in Madison, even as I lived there for most of the last 20 years.

Anyway, it's been so long that I've fallen behind on the restaurant scene. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for great pizza? I loved Salvatore's and Lucille in Madison, but I'm not sure what's comparable here.

It’s funny, I lived in Madison for almost 4 decades. Move to MKE for my wife’s job, and I miss Madison every single day. Granted all my friends and family are back there.

I’m not as big of an expert as the other folks here, but if you’re in the suburbs I’ve liked Grimaldi’s and Dock’s Dry Dock. I didn’t think Park Avenue or Toni Maroni’s were anything special.

Downtown I liked Classic Slice and Maria’s and Wy’East.

Thanks for the tips. I hear you about moving away from friends/family. I grew up in Milwaukee and my folks and many extended relatives live here, so living apart from them for a while was a challenge. Also, many of the friends I made in Madison have moved away over the years. Most of them for work. Many of them because Madison became fairly unaffordable.

There was a point about two years ago where I realized that it would be in our best interest to move back to Milwaukee. But it still took a while to actually commit to the move because there was so much I liked about Madison. It's a great city. There's stuff I never liked about Madison, but I couldn't deny the many pluses.

I haven't done all of these recently, but from memory:
MKE style thin crust: Ballestreri's (either one)
Little bit thicker: Pietro's (bay view), Lalli's pizza (Tosa) or Transfer

A bit "fancier": Wyeast, San Giorgio, and Santinos
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Step 1: Move back to Rice Lake
Step 2: Eat at Maxine's every morning
Step 3: Who cares you're already living the life

Pizza preferences are so subjective but I like Transfer and Fixture.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Milwaukee isn't a great Pizza town. Milwaukee>Madison every single time though.

I miss that place. And by place, I mean Maxine's. So good.
