Crazy deadline.

Do the 76ers even have enough players to field a team now. Good lord. Plus why did they sell McDaniels. I understand the approach but surely they need to retain some decent players.

The only decent players they want to retain are the injured ones. They can't risk winning anymore games.

From most reports McDaniels had no interest in staying with the Sixers after the season and they foolishly accepted a 1 year deal with him.

He is an RFA after this season. So he wasn't going anywhere Philly didn't want to let him go.

I always thought that was a weird deal and Philly should have stretched him out to 4 years like high end 2s usually do.

Philly really set themselves up then re McDaniels. Still, they could have called his bluff and let him be 'the man' for the rest of the season. Then tried to retain him.

I just think their tanking experiment is going to blow up in the face. I like the idea in theory, but when the roster is a revolving door like it has been I think it scares players and their agents from wanting to go anywhere near them Similar to how Sacramento has no respect around the league (obviously for different reasons).

Leaving an elite team to join the Pistons. I guess we know where his priorities are...

They don't want to bring guys in now. They want to suck. When they turn it around they will be plenty attractive. Then they want their team of 15 young high picks to grow up together. They are even getting the bigs first because they develop slower. And not paying a 2nd rounder after he got to compile #s on a terrible team isn't the end of the world.

If they turn around.

If they're still this bad in year 4 or 5 of the 8 year plan, there will be a fan revolt, and Hinkie won't make it that far.

Sixers were at the salary floor. They could have paid him next year. The money has to go somewhere.

Remember how most of our greatest players atm like Mayo, Middleton etc were playing last year under Drew.
MCW would seem as a completely another player in Milwaukee...

That's my hope. Only problem is that his shot isn't going to be fixed overnight. It's ugly.

Who says he needs to shoot? lol

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned yet but surely one of the bigs in OKC will be getting squeezed out in the off-season or early next year.

Kanter / Adams / McGary

all sharing one position with Ibaka also playing some 5, something has to give there. We know the Bucks loved McGary pre-draft, hopefully we can make a play for him or Adams in the off-season.

You guys were one of the winners of the day imo.

WOW

Avoid to pay big $$$ to Knight.

And you get MCW (+3 years with a rookie contract) and i think that J.kidd must believe that MCW (more pure PG) is better then Knight for sure.

Also, + 2 good players. A solid backup C and a good prospect. Well Done Bucks. Well done

Ps: sorry my english.

Barton and Robinson aren't capped out on their potential. Denver just added 4 potential future pieces of their team, pieces that can also net them something else, with the 1st/2nd and those two.

I know, I saw the news yesterday. He's going to be back on a roster in the future. Last year he provided a spark to the Blazers bench and played a crucial role in their playoff run. I thought he was done before that.

Point about trading with Denver still stands. I wouldn't have wanted to know what they wanted from Milwaukee for Lawson. Barton is still on their roster, they added a 1st and a 2nd while dumping a guy that was gone after the season.

For Portland Afflalo is a bigger spark for the present, making contention more plausible. That's why they gave up those pieces. For a team like the Bucks, the price that Denver put on their pieces was ridiculous. I'm glad that they instead picked up MCW, Ennis and Plumlee, without forfeiting any picks.

I would bet on Robinson signing with Phoenix. He's best friends with the Morris Brothers (they all even have the same tattoos which is kind of strange), they have a roster spot and could use another big.
