You honestly see Lavine going in the 2nd?

Let's just say I think you're as nuts as when you said Randle should be #1 early on or now that Gordon is a top 5 player :).

I'd be shocked if no one takes a chance on LaVine in the lottery. That shooting stroke and athletic ability will have some GM's enamored. I also will be really surprised if Dekker goes pro, unless the Badgers win it all.

To be fair, a lot of people were on board with Randle at the top of their boards early on, and only said that Gordon could get to #4 by June on my board.

But I don't have any problems changing my mind or opinions.

Yep. LaVine is like a better version of mclemore who went 7 last year. Stronger draft sure, but not nearly enough so to push him to the 2nd round. Dekker shouldn't leave this year, he needs to come back so that when he gets to the nba he has a role as a consistent 3 and D guy who doesn't make mistakes, he's just not quite there yet.

Don't understand how people can love Dario Saric but dislike Kyle Anderson. Anderson is a better shooter with better size and some people think he can't even cut it in the nba yet Saric is a lotto pick?

Right now the DX "mock draft" isn't a mock draft, just a big board. Says on the top, team needs have not been taken into account.

Personally, I think LaVine could be everything you were pimping Avery Bradley out to be offensively during that draft.

DX mock is a joke,

Gordon at 7, Vonleh as a Center, Saric at 11, Dekker, Ennis and Selden declaring, LaVine in the 2nd round, Markel Brown 50, Poythress going pro, Bachynski, Anderson and Napier really low...

I'm fine with Gordon at 7 and maybe even Saric at 11. Also fine with Dekker and Selden declaring. But I think Ennis declaring and LaVine being a 2nd rounder are both extremely unlikely.

Count me as one who could see Gordon getting as high as #4, and a guy I am definitely intrigued by if we fall out of the top 3. But I would be shocked if LaVine fell out of the first. If I had to put an over/under on it, I would probably set it at about #11.

You've got me confused with someone else. I loved Bradley for his defense, athleticism and upside.

Going back to the discussion about Parker being the clear number 1 pick. No way. He just isn't the prospect Embiid is. He just isn't. Wiggins could make a case, but I still don't see how you pass up on Embiid for either guy. Let alone Exum, who no one has seen except against a bunch of 6'0 Aussies.

You think he got hyped as a top pick from playing Australian high school basketball. There just isn't a facepalm big enough for this post.

Remember when Giannis was playing against future construction workers?

If you got talent, you got talent. Exum has talent.

I think everyone reserves the right to change minds on these guys. That's what the college season is for. And we are only halfway through it.

So with that disclaimer, I'm starting to sour a bit on Parker. For brief moment I had him #1, but it seems like teams have figured him out somewhat. Either that or his initial shooting back in November was a Jennings type outlier.

I'll still be shocked if anyone other than Wiggins goes 1st. Regardless of who has the pick.

Look, it may have been hyperbole, but he isn't playing against the competition and specifically size and athleticism that the other freshmen of this class are. I know you love him, and I would be excited to get him, but there's no way I could justify taking him over Embiid.

Still have questions about his handle, and his appeal is as a point guard. I've watched extended clips where he barely uses his left hand, and oddly doesn't even go between the legs. Not that that is a requirement, but what player with top notch handles have you seen that has an entire 6 minutes of handling the ball where he doesn't go between his legs at all?

I admittedly haven't seen nearly enough of him, as basically everyone else whether they like him or don't like him haven't, but there are somethings you see when you've been around basketball your whole life that at least raise some red flags. I can't help but ding him for not going to school somewhere and showcasing his skills. If we get the #4 pick, then he is clearly in the mix. But I don't even consider him over Embiid, and would need to be seriously convinced to consider him over Wiggins and Parker.

For the record, I could be convinced of Exum over WIggins and especially Parker. That is conceivable. It would take a lot but Parker's lack of dynamic athletic ability make it possible if I can be shown that 1) Exum actually is an elite athlete and 2) he has a tight handle. If I can see that, then all bets are off and he could become my #2 prospect. But that can't happen until the draft process starts. In the end, I suspect he'll be in the third tier for me, along with a mix of Randle, Gordon, Smart, and LaVine. We shall see.

I don't love him I've just called out your ridiculous statement and you're being a tit about it. Maybe do some research.
