The Bucks don't deserve the benefit of the doubt based on losing that exception last year, but have any of these components actually been announced yet? It's at least possible that Hollinger is misinterpreting everything.

You get what you pay for and the Bucks went cheap when they hired Horst.

The sheer incompetence is as overwhelming as the cologne smell in Abercrombie when I was 14.

As a backup C option, if Dwayne Dedmon is getting waived, think the minimum would get him here since he’s still making some money from his last deal? Clear path to a backup C role in a systems he’s been in

I just wish bogdanovic would sign a damn deal somewhere so we can actually move on. I know in my heart of hearts that it's not happening, but I just keep holding out hope in the back of my mind that we still get him.

You can take back 125%...

We could negotiate and get DeRozan on a sign & trade deal ... (DD opts out then Sign + Trade)

DeRozan is awful, stop with the DeRozan love please.

If he doesn't have any of this wrong and this is accurate, then the new GM search begins now. I don't even dislike the targets that Horst has picked up during his tenure, but this kind of stuff all adds up.

Dedmon, Craig, a vet min shooter, Augustin, Portis, Connaughton would be a pretty nice bench

Woj said "Milwaukee has numerous moving parts on multiple fronts, so Connaughton's deal was reshaped to stay with Milwaukee" and he knows more about this **** than anyone so there has to be something else coming, or at least being worked on.

People getting hung up on "stay in Milwaukee" but i think theyre being too literal. Hes just saying he re signed, hes not attempting to signal the ultimate intent.

Yeah, I'm focused on the "numerous moving parts on multiple fronts" part more, lol

But teams are always going to talking and making offers, so even if nothing happens then Woj's statement will still be true.

That Hollinger article backs up the thought that the FO just messed up Pat’s deal and had to restructure it and there’s no cool S&T in the works. bummer of an offseason.
