Anybody know how Arma Reforger on ps5 is? Really miss battlefield being good, and warzone/cod is such an awful game.

Do you guys listen to any gaming pods? I've listened to Triple Click in the past but I don't really vibe with that crew. Love their written stuff, don't care to hear them talk. Every once in a while the Ringer publishes a gaming pod but I kind of find them unlistenable. Otherwise I got nothing.

I used to listen to the Giant Bomb podcasts when the original people were still there.
Now I rarely listen to gaming pods but if I do it’s Nextlander, which has Vinny, Brad, and Alex from old Giant Bomb.

I like Friends Per Second, mostly as I love the whole trio.

Cowboy started a new Nioh 2 run through this week and I feel seen with the first ten minutes of this video just being him dreading all of the collecting and farming needed. I get the itch to play this every six month or so and when I jump back in I remember just how unbelievably hard it is.

Cane and Rinse does in-depth episodes focused on specific games. I listen to them occasionally if they cover a game I really love. Longer podcast though, and not a source of news like Triple Click.

I usually listen to Nextlander and Remap. I enjoy the people on both pods and have been listening to them forever, but it's felt like both groups have struggled to care about new games for a while now. Like, neither pod gave Metaphor the time of day, and it's on the GOTY shortlist all over the place.

That looks exactly like something I'd be into. Huge backlog, lengthy episodes. I'm sure there are dozens of episodes on games I'd be interested in hearing be discussed. Thanks!

Very pumped for Civ7.
Been playing the hell out of DayZ and it’s fun but not as fun as it could be with friends. I have a group of 4-5 buddies who will be ready for Civ. We do a weekly Wednesday night game night for one specific game and it’s always a blast when it’s Civ and we were on 6 for a few months last spring/summer.
In the meantime we started Back 4 Blood. I think I got it for like $4 on sale. Game is great. Very similar to Left 4 Dead which was one of my favorites back in the day.

Doubt I'll pick any of those up personally. For me, it's probably March 6 with Split Fiction as my first game purchase of the year. Marvel Rivals, College Football 25, and Stardew Valley should hopefully carry me until then.

I stupidly just beat the first two Suikodens, and then saw that the remaster was coming out. Fantastic fun, especially the second one.

The first was interesting but just too janky for me. I'm real excited for the sounds of this one, though.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
My dusty ass Switch means it's unlikely I'll be picking one of these up anytime soon.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Yep, I loved my Switch when it came out and there is a game I play now and then (like Wonder last year), but it aged very poorly for me. There will need to be multiple can't miss, AAA titles for me to consider it.

The First Berserker: Khazan demo is up on PSN, Xbox, and Steam. First two levels and the progress carries over. Definitely gonna be giving this a look this weekend.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Yea, I liked my Switch for a while, but the games just didn't hold up long term and there is maybe 1 a year I'm actually interested in. The 2 doesn't seem like a big enough jump over my OLED and I have a SteamDeck I never use either.
