Jokes aside, I think this is a nothing trade and I assume there is another move in the works. Khris' body is cooked and anyone that says otherwise is in denial, wearing deer-colored glasses, or both.

AJ Johnson is not worth losing your marbles over, my god, get a grip. He is 2 years away from (MAYBE) being 2 years away, we don't have that kind of time.

If this is a trade to save money, then permission to show up to Horst/Haslam's places and burn whatever you see.

You don’t know that big men take longer to develop not guards. The wizards wanted him not AJ Green not Ajax not Rollins why the **** is that because the kid has talent and you got to be blind not to see it. Now if we were getting KD I can see that with Middleton but Kuzma that’s just insanely bad management and Giannis will leave because of it.

I literally don't even know what your point is. If its that the Wizards wanted him, cool, they have had SUCH great decision making over the years to back up those claims lol.

"Giannis will leave because of it" stop being so dramatic/reactionary - I know - rich expectation of this board.

maybe he is what he is but he has the pedigree and tools to be more than he has showed. Giannis might bring the dog out of him

I fully support people having hope for PBJ (in spirit). But legally I can not board this train

Again, the Wizards, who have won 2 games this year, didn't play him and didn't even want to pay him $4M next season. The ship has sailed.

So at this point the hope is for Baldwin to do what Middleton did when we traded Jennings for Knight with Middleton was the throw in.

As sweet as that would be, I don't see it.

Lol nah we are spitballing on that. I think the "hope" is Kuzma reverts to the super championship role player Laker type and will be available on the floor, hustle, and play uptempo with the 2 superstars we have.

Say what you want about AJ. I thought he flashed very obvious physical gifts, but I also remember Rashad Vaughn dropping 22 points early in his second season in the league.

I think what can be fairly undisputed is that we badly mismanaged that asset. We would have been better off either drafting a win-now contributor like Dunn or moving the pick with Pat/Bobby to get under the second apron and add another quality player.

Instead, we ended up with the worst of both worlds - we drafted a long-term project that we ended up giving up on to use in an effective salary dump.

I watched as much Baldwin as I could pre-draft because the disconnect between "McD's All-American" and "shooting 38% in the Horizon Conference" was so baffling. What I saw was a painfully slow player whose shooting was dramatically oversold, and whose best skill, by far, was his passing. I think his feel is decent, but like his comp is "if Steve Novak was more of a ball-movement guy than a shooter". Just too slow and not enough skill to intrigue.

Of course, that site thehighlow or whatever just doesn't work anymore for some inexplicable reason...right when we need it most.

I think at the very least we can put this absurd notion that "Giannis will ask out if you trade his best friend(s)" thing to bed. If/when dude asks for a trade, it'll be because he doesn't think there's a path to contend for championships with this roster, not because his brother and best friend aren't on the team.

I've noticed that most of the posters talking ill on AJJ never paid attention to or watched literally anything he was doing in the G-League regular season. Their stats default to the pre-season tournament and people have been using those numbers to justify him being traded. He was shooting 42% from three on decent volume and getting better and more confident every G-League outing.

Wouldn't trading his best friend and releasing his brother give him more ammo to ask for a trade? These moves matter.

He's a 6'9" version of Marjon. PBJ isn't nearly explosive enough and looks like he hasn't found his way into an NBA weight room yet. I guess a 6'9" Marjon is better than a 6'5" Marjon?

Imagine if MarJon were slower, less athletic in any metric, and a worse shooter. There's Baldwin. Solid BBIQ allegedly, I haven't seen it.

Righto, well that's good enough for me. Don't like anyone we've got back, and liked the guys we sent out.

The Bucks should strap him into a chair, pry his eyelids open, and force him to watch a 24/7 loop of Kyle Anderson highlights.
