Don't just focus on Gordon with AU. Seriously. You have to watch their entire group of Tarczewski, Ashley, and Hollis-Jefferson as well. They have dynamite depth. And they're all extremely athletic and long. At the moment, I see Gordon finding his niche as a basketball player. He's great in transition and is extremely athletic. But, he can not guard the 3 in space. At all. He doesn't have a face-up game yet. He's working on his jumper - and, it's definitely a work in progress. He's a player I'm going to watch all year to see if he develops beyond his athletic prowess. If you saw his reverse alley-oop dunk tonite you'll understand.

Most definitely, AZ has a lot of guys who are looking good tonight. I see multiple NBA caliber players on the floor with Gordon. And I agree with you 100% on Gordon. You can see his potential. He can jump out of the gym. But it's not quite all there yet. I wonder quite honestly if Gordon might be bests served coming back for his sophomore season, where if he improves, he could challenge being the #1 pick next year (most likely alongside Okahfor). That being said, I still think he is good value in the lower half of the Top 10 should he declare (but again, we BETTER not be picking that low).

I really really like Hollis-Jefferson. He reminds me of a young Stacey Augmon but with more strength and agility. Actually, come to think of it, AU reminds me a lot of my favorite UNLV teams. Granted, they most definitely don't have a LJ but they've got something in their collective pool of talent that just really really intrigues me.

I thought it was humorous you sorted by WS.

George is obviously a big step below those other three. The statistical filters you used are ridiculous.

Yeah I can see the Augmon comparison with him most definitely. Lefty just like Augmon was too obviously. As for why there is no LJ on this Arizona team, that's probably because he is in Lexington, KY, and his name is Julius Randle :)

Charlotte Hornets Grandmama as well as a Fab 5 era Chris Webber is who Randle reminds me of the most.

It's the default for BR, but whatever. You're the one who doesn't think George is playing at an MVP level.

Whoever said Paul George would be the best player the Milwaukee Bucks have had since Moncrief is spot on. In fact, he'd probably be the best player we've had since Kareem quite honestly. You have to think he is better than Ray, and Ray Allen is going to the Hall Of Fame.

Again, barometer should be Hall Of Fame. I see no reason why George won't end up there if he plays at this level for a long duration. What more do you want than the HOF???

AND, for the scrutinizing eye, that WS comes out better than every one of the players listed if averaged over 82. So, there's that. Cough. Cough.

True. It is seasonal WS. I only glanced at the stats and thought you were using George's stats from last season.

So, Ayt, given if you extend the WS stats over a full season and you surpass everyone on this list...what is it that you see to think he isn't playing at an MVP level? It's baffling to me, frankly. Have you actually watched him play?

FYI, if both Arizona and Duke win out in the Pre-Season NIT, they will meet in the Championship Game on Black Friday at Madison Square Garden.

Gordon vs. Parker, as well as all the other top talent that both teams have...man, that will be a great one to watch. Circle your calendars :)

That's definitely a list of great players, but in all fairness, none of them won MVP that year.

The NBA is kind of a wasteland when it comes to elite players after LeBron and Durant. I suppose you could argue that George is an MVP level player, though I can't think of any good reason why anyone would give him a 1st place vote over LeBron or Durant.

The drop off from the top few guys is huge. Putting Paul George up as an MVP caliber guy against LeBron or Durant is **** crazy.

Hood vs. Hollis-Jefferson.

Parker vs. Gordon.

I'm going with AU by 10. Mark it down. I think the experience and strength of Johnson @ PG for AU will match favorably against Cook. Though, obviously, if Duke gets hot from 3 anything is possible. I just don't think Duke has the size or depth to stay w/ AU for the full 40.

But, yes, this is definitely one to mark on the calendar!

Shouldn't Kaminsky be on the Big Board after tonite?

In all seriousness, jeebus Smart. What a line.

TJ McConnell? I didn't see tonight's game, did Johnson play PG?
