I'm pretty happy we missed out on Kyrie, I just couldn't see him resigning with us. The dude demanded out of a great situation with Lebron because he wasn't 'the guy', you think it's going to be any different with Giannis? Not the time for the Bucks to go all in

Yeah, Kyrie lucked out getting sent to a **** team where he'll just have a bunch of role players around him.

I don't think this whole "being the guy" thing is as important to him as the media leaks have made it out to be. He was asking to get sent to a team where he'd play 2nd fiddle to Kawhi or 2nd fiddle to Towns/Butler and he's now extremely excited to play for a team where he'll probably be the 1A, but is still going to be deferring a pretty good amount, especially if god forbid Tatum/Jaylen turn into special players. I think he simply doesn't like the Cavs organization and was tired of the way they pamper LeBron.

Of course he could have easily grown tired of our dysfunctional organization too.

Could we trade Middleton for the Nets pick?

Sure we can
And then you can explain to Giannis why we traded his best teammate for some dude who will maybe be good in 4 years

I wouldn't do it. But who cares right now...
It is DONE.
A previous poster was right.
He said something like if we get Kyrie we would be a better team but if not we are still really good with high chance to get better within.
I agree.
We should be happy regardless. I am.

Yeah look I'm not too fussed either way. I love Mids and Brogs but I think Kyrie would have taken us that next step. Let's hope our guys really get going this season. Fit really well with Giannis.

Wonder what Lebron is thinking.

Essentially Kyrie for Crowder, Zizic and a few picks he probably doesn't give a **** about. Of course, I'm operating under the assumption that there was ever a chance he'd stay in Cleveland.

They could trade the pick for a good player and I am sure Lebron will pressure them to do so. They probably should keep it though. I agree that LeBron has one foot out the door, but there's a chance the right trade could sway him.

Lebron was as good as gone anyways. Cavs still get a decent rebuilding package and can probably flip Crowder/Love for picks.

I think Cleveland will actually keep this pick this time around.

Yeah, someone will have to make a pretty good offer to get that pick. They won't just be pawning it off for the best veteran available on the trade market regardless of value. Or at least they shouldn't unless Lebron extends his contract.

With IT likely out they really need a guard of some kind, and one who can defend PGs. I doubt they'd give that pick for a Bledsoe though and I don't know what other options are really out there besides him. Or maybe PHX could add something else to it, idk.
