There’s a definite sense of inevitability out there. The guys are trying hard but the game plan/execution just isn’t there whereas Miami are doing exactly what they need to.

The offense actually looked like an offense there with no Giannis staring at 3 guys at the top of the key

How has Brook been a bucket for the entirety of both games and just gets no offense run for him.

I think Steger brought it up before. This Giannis is different than Toronto last year. Giannis didn't win us the game, but he was still a net positive. We are playing worse with him. Miami is too disciplined for his free safety defense.

Don't really need to run anything. just actually move the ball attack and swing. Eventually it'll get to him wide open

In general if you forget the 1st quarter of the 1st game we are far better tonight Giannis included obviously. Bledsoe has been great on both ends tonight. It's the far worst shooting that is killing us though.

Accept his body went into the back of Bleds legs as he was about to bounce it to Giannis.

Did zero research but I'm pretty comfortable saying no.

So it has to be that the bubble messed up our defensive strategy of ceding threes. Effort, poor matchups, etc wouldn’t explain the catastrophic point differential drop

It's like when Giannis is out there everyone freezes and watches, him having that all time usage in the regular season and then having to pass all the time in the playoffs is making us disjointed. We really should be using him as an off ball and/or decoy guy more.

You gotta get the ball to him, he's shooting 100% this game, and shot 80% in last game -- on 13 recorded shots.
