Honestly, Giannis should leave and we should all stop watching basketball.

The people who sill think we're getting Bogdan probably still think we're getting Bledsoe as part of the Redick trade 8 years ago.

defense is half the game. hes 24 entering basically his 2nd full season and his winning metrics already destroy bogdans. if he raises his 3pt% to 35-38% he could be a ten year 2way impact starter in this league. again considering hes ENTERING HIS 2ND FULL SEASON on a rookie deal that will give us total control for years and save us massive cash over the next two years i think its foolish to move him...... especially for somebody playing rec ball in sacramento putting up decent boxscore numbers.

i like the jrue deal i do NOT like moving ddv i dont care whose coming back especially paper tigers

Please stop Ghost... Bogdan playing winning basketball all his life and he was for years under the best coach in Europe who loves under control basketball and WINNING... Wtf are you talking about sir?

for 3 years one of the worst teams in the league wasnt any better whether he played or not. i dont deny he was a winner in europe. buts lots of euro twigs can win there and dont here.

Man so we won because of Donte and they were bad because of Bogdan is your answer?

His 3pt% is 38% all his life and the best player of his team, imagine his 3pt% when everyone guarding Giannis... Serbians are dogs man..

I'm not going to say anything about him and his game cause he isn't coming so i dont care about him...

They literally didn't know they couldn't offer Pat a player option.

Woj said "Milwaukee has numerous moving parts on multiple fronts, so Connaughton's deal was reshaped to stay with Milwaukee" and he knows more about this **** than anyone so there has to be something else coming, or at least being worked on.

People getting hung up on "stay in Milwaukee" but i think theyre being too literal. Hes just saying he re signed, hes not attempting to signal the ultimate intent.

yes!! like when he signed for less it was to not stay in milwaukee but now that they restructured its to stay? absurd interpretation. of course hes on the move and for the extra money hes probably hugging our front office for coming back and using him this way

Just no idea why they gave him even more money and an extra year though?? From 4.15m a year to 5.33m a year..

Early birds have to be a minimum of two years. The FO could just say, hey we can't do a player option so the second year is now a fully guaranteed regular year. That's it, sorted.

If we trade Wilson for a heavily protected second rounder just to get his money off the books, we could S&T Pat for someone on around $15m.

What a joke. The most important offseason in team history and this is what we get?

The Hollinger article is even funnier since he called out Orlando for being dumb too.

Or they could've said, sorry we screwed up. We can't offer you a contract.

Bogdan has never been better than Fox, he's not even better than Hield or Bjelica. He only shot 40% on wide open 3s, so his % wasn't really going to change here much. The Kings had a worthwhile offense, it was their defense that was awful, because they had too many Bogdan's.

He was being acquired because he was a buddy of Giannis, but that's over.

Ok so more or less we get the same team as last year (I call DJ/Bobby vs Hill/Ersan a wash)
except we got a third player who will *probably* not disappear in the play offs.
That's kind of a big deal... not massive but it's not nothing either.

I still can’t believe we gave Pat that contract. It’s literally mind boggling to me

Yeah, pretty much. I get that he's training buds with Giannis but surely that (and pretty much that alone because nobody else is paying him this kind of money) isn't enough leverage to get $4-5m out of the FO lol.

donte had a better net rating than anybody in our starting lineup besides giannis. bogdan was just barely positive this year in a no defense system that looked like a ymca pickup game perfectly suited for his game. ddv with all the nerves and no experience came in immediately did all the little things. so young and instant impact. i just imagine once that shot falls and it will. he has that dna man. it will literally make me sad he has to go to the kings. he doesnt deserve that
