As far G. Wallace is concerned, I see it the opposite way: It's a miracle that he lasted as much as he did with all these knocks, hits and injuries he had accumulated over the years. It's a same he spent the most productive part of his career in a terrible team

I can't remember the exact circumstances of the failed Bogdan trade, but there must have been clear evidence of us tampering.
Every team tampers, we just weren't smart enough to do it properly.
Ours started out as hearsay and then the league launched an investigation. Will the league investigate this? Brow ain't Moriarty, I'm sure there's plenty to find if they had any interest.

How is this not tampering? Because of the language used in the tweet?

Silver seems like a pleasant guy, but the league is a joke that lacks consistency and integrity.
This lack of consistency allowed the small-market Milwaukee Bucks to win the 2020-2021 championship - hell even a team from the evil northern empire grabbed a chip recently,- while Tim Donaghy plied his trade during the Stern years.
I really have zero idea what consistency and integrity mean in this context.
You are right, I expressed that poorly. I meant to say the league has always existed for profits and ratings. Stern at least pretended to patrol and distribute fairness. Silver is Malcolm Gladwell without the sweet ‘fro. Wait, I actually like Malcolm Gladwell. I have no point here. Except the Bucks title will be my favorite of all time because it was so improbable.
I'm not a huge Silver fan, but I am when compared to the other Big 4 commissioners. Low bar, but he is streets ahead. At the least, he seems to aim to strike a balance among management, labor and the sport.

This Lakers and Wizards trade I think ends up including Schoder on a sign and trade going to Washington and Kuzma and Harrell going to the Kings. Buddy Hield will be a Laker along with Westbrook. They have been very careful to say anything about it or it becomes exactly what happened with Milwaukee last year. Harrell opted in with the idea he was being traded to the Kings, not the Wizards.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Yeah, this is the stuff that's dumb. I don't care if players talk to each other about playing together. But how is this any different from the Bogi fiasco? I guess Woj confirming it rather than saying there are rumors is what matters. So stupid

Re: ATL - Westbrook to LAL, pg. 24
Imagine being Lebron, a self proclaimed goat, get AD to compete for a championship, win one then lose the next one only to get Westbrook, another mvp caliber player to compete for another and after all that you start begging for all stars and borderline all stars to take the minimum so they can all win an easy ring.
The Nets who did the same thing last season(Blake, Aldridge) even if they were unlucky with the injuries and the Lakers play with different rules compared to the rest of the league.

Bonga won’t be tendered. I really liked him as a sleeper going into this season but that didn’t work out. Still so young. Wouldn’t mind giving him one of the two way deals.
Do it for Chuck

So Derozan will go to Lakers, they still might trade for Hield. And if LA doesn't win we will hear "Lebron needs more help."

Also that 'source' is about as reliable as someone posting on this board.LikeABosh wrote:RubberSoul wrote:

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Derozan and Westbrook almost offset Lebrons BBIQ by themselves.

I always forget that Buddy Hield is like almost the same age as Middleton. That's wild.
