Gordon vs. Parker, as well as all the other top talent that both teams have...man, that will be a great one to watch. Circle your calendars
Hood vs. Hollis-Jefferson.
Parker vs. Gordon.
I'm going with AU by 10. Mark it down. I think the experience and strength of Johnson @ PG for AU will match favorably against Cook. Though, obviously, if Duke gets hot from 3 anything is possible. I just don't think Duke has the size or depth to stay w/ AU for the full 40.
But, yes, this is definitely one to mark on the calendar!
TJ McConnell? I didn't see tonight's game, did Johnson play PG?

To be fair, smart was shooting like 30% from 3 before he went bonkers in the first half. No doubt his jumper is improved, but let's not go crazy over 1 game. He's definitely top 8 though.

Yeah, queue fans and pundits overreacting and putting him in the top 3 over one game. Sure, he's a great prospect, and probably would have gone #2 last June had he declared, but Wiggins, Randle, and Parker are the elite tier. It would be such a Bucks move to get the 3rd pick, then proceed to pass on Randle and Exum for Smart because of the "look what he did against college comp.!!" mentality.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Most talented player would help the most. No offense, but it BPA without question.

And if it just happens to be a backcourt player then so be it.

True. It is seasonal WS. I only glanced at the stats and thought you were using George's stats from last season.
So, Ayt, given if you extend the WS stats over a full season and you surpass everyone on this list...what is it that you see to think he isn't playing at an MVP level? It's baffling to me, frankly. Have you actually watched him play?
The NBA is kind of a wasteland when it comes to elite players after LeBron and Durant. I suppose you could argue that George is an MVP level player, though I can't think of any good reason why anyone would give him a 1st place vote over LeBron or Durant.
The drop off from the top few guys is huge. Putting Paul George up as an MVP caliber guy against LeBron or Durant is **** crazy.

Don't get me wrong, if we're sitting at 5th and Smart, Embiid, Gordon, and Harris are all on the board, the only guy I even give consideration to other than Smart is Embiid. I just don't think he's worthy of being put in the same class as Wiggins, Randle, Parker, and Exum. Nor do I think he ever will be.
