If you're open to a show about depression, After Life on Netflix is really well done. Ricky Gervais show so you wouldn't expect this type of thing, but it's very good and well done. And, still a decent amount of black comedy to it to have some laughs along the way.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Made it through two eps of Euphoria last night. Worth it to see this through?

Even if the movie ends up being 3 hrs of poop, I've got high hopes for this score

I'm so hyped for this film. I think it's going to be amazing. And this score reminds me of Batman The Animated Series a little. I can't wait.

Yea, what I've seen/heard so far gives me high hopes.

I personally like it. It's incredibly well shot, the openers of each ep are my favorite and what pulled me in. Acting is great too, but I'll be the first to admit it's pretty out there in terms of turning up a high schooler experience with drugs and sex to an insanely high level so that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I thought it was pretty good, there are some problems I have with it and also I'm not nearly in-touch enough with teen culture to know if it's anywhere near as realistic as it presents itself. Also although I generally liked S1, I didn't watch the two specials or start S2 yet, so consider this a faint recommendation. I'm not super motivated to dive back into the world of ubiquitous body sequins.

It's attractive and stylish and has I think more substance than it sometimes gets credit for, but also I think the villain is so 2 dimensional, he bores me to death. Just a typical teen show chode, a vessel for the audience to focus their hatred. Would be a better and more interesting show without that character imo.

If you like it, keep going. If you don't like it, plenty of other ****.

You both hit on where we are with it. The drugs and sex are at 11 and it reached a point where you start feeling like it's grounded in shock value versus being a nuanced portrayal of teen issues. At first the gf didn't think it was realistic at all. While I don't doubt these vices and social pressures are prevalent, so far its just been one bad decision after another with no respect for the fact that teens can make rational choices from time-to-time and think about things other than who theyre gonna **** next.

But hey, that's the point of the show right? I think I'm intrigued enough to follow the journey of Rue, Jules, and a few others that I'll give it thru S1. Agree about Nate though. The guy is insufferable.

This show just hits all the sweet spots for me. Have already burnt through the first half and can't wait to see how they finish it off.
Julia Garner continues to own every scene as Ruth.

I've watched 3 of the 7 and will likely finish this weekend. Good cast, I've enjoyed it a lot. I wish they had just released all 14.

Watched episode 3 of Boba Fett and yeah......I'm out. The English West Side Story-esque street kids with their multi-colored mopeds had me nearly busting out in laughter. It's at the point where it's basically an unintentional comedy.

Also:

Spoiler:
How the **** do people keep breaking into his private quarters? Like, who's on security detail here lol.

There's a Peacock documentary called Meddling that was very interesting. It centers around the skating controversy (judge collusion and politicking) at the 02 Winter Olympics which I had never known about.

If you're looking for a good doc, I highly recommend.

Finished all 7. Crazy. I enjoy shows that are over the top. Not believable at all, just fun. Yeah Julia Garner is great.
