I do think it's a hot take. Just like with Caitlin Clark and the slow-mo replays, this stuff happens in real time. If someone is running full steam ahead at me and it's my job effectively to get off the court, trying to make room for yourself with your arms in split-second decisions is 100% natural IMO.

I side with both of them. They both got caught in the literal middle of court-stormings that happened the split-second the game ended. This one felt like the players started rushing before the clock even hit 0. Absolutely unacceptable.

You just can't have court stormings if this **** is going to keep happening.

Not sure why Filipowski was even standing in the middle of the court in the first place. Another Duke player was smart enough to run out the way.

Seems like the students have a higher probability of getting hurt more than the players. I literally saw four or five students face plant when running out there.

Curious to know just how many players have actually been hurt over the years when a court storming has happened. Have to believe it’s not a high number.

Sorry, but why in the hell would it be the player's responsibility to clear off the court before the game ends so that spectators can rush the court before the clock hits 0? There were fans 1/4 of the way onto the court when the clock hit 0, and he was making his way to the benches/handshake line - walking, like players normally do - from the opposite side of the court.

There are fans at the top of the key when the clock hits 0. I cannot comprehend anti-player takes here.

Court storming and field storming should be banned, it’s stupid.

I’d love to hear ideas on how to ban court storming. You’d have to basically not allow students to attend.

If there was a warning/disclaimer that serious effort would be made to ID every person who stormed the court, revoke their season tickets, and ban them from the arena I'm sure that would scare a lot of people.

A Green Bay fan went after our coach tonight, safe to say the mid major Wisconsin rivalry is fully back. League is super winnable now with Youngstown losing and we look to be peaking at the right time.

Another nice win by UWM. One more and they're in.
