Negative side:
* Washington board seems happy AF to be done watching Kuz..
* called him and Poole the "trash brothers" .. they also sound clueless in that they think KMs work ethic/hustle and professionalism will be a better example for their young players who will learn how to get out of doing post season work.

For me, if Kuz is fine in the 3rd banana role and jumps at the scraps and open lanes he'll get by running with Dame and GA we'll be happy

On the flip.. positives of the trade

1. Get under the 2nd apron!!!!!
2. Kuzma will be more available, on a good contract, rebounds!!!, more athletic, more versatile

...I'm trying

I mean, I think 2/3 of this board has been pitching Khris trades for the last two seasons.

I actually stopped the last two seasons because I felt it was too late. He's been worth to us than anything he could reasonably bring back in a trade. We can hearken back to the days of Middleton for Haliburton though, and the things people said about that idea. (Let's not hearken back to the days of Middleton for Dragan Bender, that would be entirely too much hearkening imo)

I think there may have been a sliver of opportunity after the playoffs this past season, prior to Khris having two ankle surgeries and taking forever to return. He looked so great in that series that I have to imagine we could have netted a better return, especially if we attached the 24 FRP.

Pat Baldwin was absolutely dominant last time I saw him a week ago.

Too bad it was against the Herd. Baldwin and his team beat the doors off AJ Johnson and the other borrowed Bucks that day.

Baldwin shoots well, but is an unexplosive finesse player. He has a 9' standing reach, but doesn't take advantage of it in any way.

If you think that, it says more about the franchise than trading him does.

Dame going to start running? Long overdue. We were playing faster with Khris on the floor, but Kuzma doesn't handle the ball, so we're back to walking it up.

We also no longer have a back up PG. Middleton was filling that role.

He wouldn’t have passed a physical.

He might not even pass one now but the Wiz might wave it since they really just wanted AJJ.

Here's Baldwin's game last week against the Herd. He's a deadeye long range shooter and the Herd left him wide open time and again.

He has no quickness or footspeed and so is pretty bad on defense.

I saw him a lot in AAU. Played with Jalen Johsnon, Carter Gilmore, Reece Beekman and a lot of other good players.

Maybe Giannis can get him in the weight room? Or Brook can teach him how to use that length at the rim?

Indeed. Khris should have been traded in 2022 if I’m being honest. I understand there’s a lot of love and attachment to players, but Horsts job is to ignore those things and make trades that put the Bucks in the best position. Maximize value and all that.

I might be getting my scrubs from Wisconsin confused. Which one is supposed to be better, PBJ or Johnny Davis?
