Take it for what it is, don't know the credibility of the site. However, he was big east player of the year in the toughest conference of the NCAA and had 5 or 6 game winners.

He's a good player and I like him, but I don't believe he was ever a threat to go in the lottery.
The reasoning they gave is that Gordon Hayward led Butler to the final, therefore Butler, who led his team to the Final Four, could go lottery. I don't think that logic can withstand much scrutiny, do you? It's not really even logic, it's just a misconnection. Jon Scheyer certainly ain't gettin' a green room invite.
