He's not taking this team anywhere, and in a sense, has been holding the organization hostage over the last several years as a walking injury-in-waiting.
They better get a mid to high 1st for him.
I'd argue Jennings has held the organization just as much hostage, if not more. The Bucks seem to honestly believe that BJ will suddenly turn the corner and become a top 5-10 PG in the NBA. And, we're on year #3 of waiting for that moment to happen.
Personally, I'd rather keep Bogut. And, if Jennings is back next season, I won't be a season ticket holder.
Jennings has been here since 2009. Bogut's been here since 2005. No way Jennings has held the Bucks just as much hostage as Bogut has.
Like stated, Bogut is an injury waiting to happen. Every single season. You can realistically expect Bogut to play 60-65 games per season, at most. His recent string of unfortunate events has left us with too many questions to answer regarding the team.
Jennings has only started to get bad. Maybe, if we hang on to him, he'll eventually get to where Bogut is. But no way is he there right now.
EDIT: But I do understand where you're coming from when you put Jennings' erratic play into question.
