There are a lot of different ways I could see T. Jones' career playing out. I could see him being like a little bigger Thad Young. I could see him being like Harrington if his perimeter skillset improves a lot, particularly his shooting. I could see him being like Julian Wright, a good multipositional defender and team player who struggles to get on the court because his skills never develop. I could see him being like Joe Alexander, a somewhat short 4 who everybody thinks is a 3 and thus fails. I could even see him being like a hot-and-cold version of Faried. There are just so many possibilities with a guy that young.

I think Pheonix takes Ross.

I have a feeling they'll take Marshall.

Depends on availability. T. Jones is only the pick if Lamb and Ross are gone.

Just call up Ernie G. Offer up Monta and #14 or if they don't want that, offer up the 2013 pick with top 1 protection instead. Take back Blatche's horrific contract. Draft MKG and call it a day.

FWIW...

kRIS
from what youve seen or heard..what team makes the biggest headline (trades, etc) tonight?

Steve Kyler
Hard to peg that… I think Cleveland and Golden State by virtue of having so many picks… I think Houston for the same reason.

I think Milwaukee is moving down again… I think Portland has things they are working on too.

Lakers, Grizzlies and Nets are all trying to make moves too.

Terrence Jones is closer in measurements to the average center than he is to the average small forward. He's a big dude.

I think he's a little bit like Antawn Jamison.

Heard Moultrie is a real possibility there as well (they had him in for a second visit recently). That would be ideal...

I doubt we're take any of these guards we've been craving. I think in the end Hammond wants Will Barton and Fab Melo.

Yeah, I was thinking he'd play kind of a hybrid C role with us next to one of the skinny guys. If there's a post scorer in the game, Dalembert or Jones would be on him. He's got good fundamentals.

Yup.

You see that, then you watch him play... he is super fluid for a guy his size. He can beat people off of the dribble and down on the block.

I just really like him as a player.

When Jones beats someone, he beats them badly, but when he doesn't, he looks awful trying to adjust.

Yes split the #14! I'm optimistic since Barton and Moultrie worked out for us.

Marshall is an underrated player in this draft. I hope he goes to a good situation and I'm confident whatever team he goes to will improve as a direct result.

I'd be happy if we still came away with Ross at 14. I'm sure Leonard is the real target though. Watch, Lamb will fall to 14 and the Bucks will still take Leonard.

I'd take 16 and 18 to move down... but not 20/21.

I would actually prefer 16 and 18.

What if someone were to take Gooden off our hands? Pipe dream, I know, but I'd take back a later pick and a shorter bad contract to shed Gooden once and for all.

But, yeah, I'd rather draft once at #14 than twice in the #20's. Why does it already feel like theres a lot less available at #14 then there would have been at #12?

Me too, I'd love to have two of: Jones, Jones III, White, Harkless

If Lamb is not there at 14, I'd move down for 20/21. Alot of good players will be there

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
