I'm open minded to no more green. New owners, new coach, new arena, might as well go all the way with a full-rebranding of the franchise.

Just felt the need to post this, re: Cream & Milwaukee history...

http://www.terrypepper.com/lights/closeups/cream_city_brick/cream_city_brick.htm

Milwaukee has long been known as the "Cream City," and while many people assume that the name comes from the State's long pre-eminence in the dairy industry, it is in fact derived from the cream-colored bricks from which many of the City's buildings are constructed.

Deep veins of red lacustrine clay run along the western shore of Lake Michigan, and one of the unique properties of this clay is that when formed into bricks, it turns a light golden yellow color after firing. Not only pleasant in color, these bricks generally possess superior strength and weather resistance characteristics, as well as excellent color-retention properties.

Same...a part of me would be sad to see the green go. I feel this team desperately needs a re-brand though. My initial choice is a more modern spin on the green on green unis of the past with some tweaks and made more modern, cream on the antlers opening the door for cream alternates with dark green pinstripes- nice.

BUT, if they want to take the re-brand even further by changing from green to blue, I support it. For one, the look will be 10x better than the Christmas colors- I just despise those. I'm just young enough that I didn't experience the 70s/80s greatness and when the Bucks were at their best in my lifetime, they had purple in their uniforms(which I didn't hate like some).

I'm a nostalgic person but also a realist and if the new group things a full re-brand to go with a new coach, arena, etc are the best for the future of the franchise, I support it. We need a new image pretty badly.

How about we keep our current jerseys and logo because they're good? I'm all for a logo tweak or a color tweak or whatever, but teams NEVER do a TOTAL logo rebrand like we're evidently seeing here. When teams do redesigns, they typically keep the same colors or keep the same outline of the logo.

Yeah, I didn't catch that the first time. Pretty cool bit of inside info nonetheless.

This is an abomination. First the Celtics wear gray and now this. I'm organizing another downtown rally in protest.

The Nets did it.

Lots of teams do it.

Just haven't done it in awhile

With the new owners, new coach and new youth in the team it feels like perfect timing for change and I support it. I really can't picture the jerseys in my head so until there are some designs it's hard to comment but a fresh start I'm diggin.

Maybe we could add some stars so we look even more like the Cowboys.

That's what people in Wisconsin want, right?

If this is true...

I just flew from Australia to Milwaukee to watch a game and dropped $500 on gear. All of which is primarily green with some red. I will be saddened if that is no longer current in less than 6 months. Ugh.

I did hear from the merchandise people at the BC that the new owners do not like the red and that things will be moving to primarily green. I heard this when I asked about getting a red Giannis alternate jersey. Another unnamed source confirmed red would be disappearing soon.

Maybe the owners had a change of heart and our now dumping all the colours, not just the red.

I'll be really disappointed if they ditch green. Keep a link to the championship team. Don't just be like everyone else and pick blue.
