It's not like he's really a difficult player to replace, and Giannis has a 5 year window before he may leave for another franchise. I'm not taking my chances. No freaking way. You have a pretty good team around Giannis. You could attract a good free agent. I don't really consider it a long shot.

Jabari really isn't that good even if he stays healthy. And the odds of that aren't good. He's going to have a lot of swelling and various other problems in all likelihood.

Getting a for sure 20/6 is not so easy to replace.

When do you guys think Jabari comes back. It seems like he will be back before February. I mean he is dunking right now and they are letting him. I am thinking he might be back mid December

I have this sneaky suspicion that they will hold him out as long as possible. They will try and sell him on not coming back too soon cause maybe that's what went wrong last time. The longer he is out, the less he is likely to get as a RFA. Now will we bid against ourselves like we have in the past or will we wait for him to get an offer elsewhere? Hopefully they do the latter for once.

If we make the POs he will be great to have off the bench
Quick scoring against 2nd units and giving Giannis/Khris breathers

If Jabari is healthy, they can't sit him. I think Jabari is set on getting a max type deal so if he is healthy he won't sit idly by. He's doesn't have a long-term contract so I think the player's association would step in if the Bucks dont activate him.

I thought Kukoc was actually a better fit for the Bucks after we dealt Big Dog's "20/6". The only problem was Kukoc was on his last legs. Prime Kukoc was the more valuable player IMO.

Really good article from Bobby Marks
Read on Twitter

I asked him if the Bucks should look at doing something similar with Jabari and he said:

Its horrible but Embiid is there franchise so they likely aren't doing **** without him anyway. Jabari isn't close to us what Embiid is to them. I just simply can't imagine us signing Jabari to a deal worth 50 mill more then Giannis. Theres just no way even for the bucks.

If it's possible to offer him 4/80 or 5/100 with half of that guaranteed(I doubt it's possible due to contract rules) in case of big injuries then I'm good because I lost hope of the Bucks being able to sign good FA star players or even top grade role players on that matter.

Tanking isn't an option anymore so Jabari is our only hope for a second superstar besides Giannis and borderline all star Khris.

I feel good about all this, because the Bucks have a cap expert leading the way.

This is where i'm at. You can't predict the future but how else does this team acquire blue chip talent?

You never know, but one thing you do know is that you can't let that unknown force a panic decision on Jabari that could cripple your cap

I have 0 faith that our FO is able to carry out whatever complicated injury-related stuff the Sixers will have worked into this Embiid contract.

It's going to be $20m+ before the extension deadline and it's going to be horrible.
