I'm bummed for Boogie but honestly think he'll come back from this pretty strong.

Well...at least Jrue Holiday's fantasy lines are going to go full tilt. Good for my playoff push. (Ducks).

Jalen Rose said Kawhi wants out...I'd give up everything but Giannis for him, those 2 would be an excellent fit and scary good defensively.

Unfortunately I don't think we have enough. Top 5 pick + another prospect IMO.
Now I wonder whether Jabarles + Brogdon could start the discussion

I love ragging on Boogie but feel so bad for him and the Pels. They were looking really strong recently.

.1% chance Kawhi is traded. It would take the world to get him. Maybe if Boston offered 2/3 of their roster the Spurs wouldn’t hang up.

From, GB, looks grim :/
Once the tendon ruptures, it is usually never back to 100% again. Even in professional sports, 36% of NFL or NBA players sustaining an Achilles tendon rupture never return to pro sports, and those who do usually take about a year before they are playing competitively. Additionally, players who do return typically have a decrease in their power of about 50% and only play for an average of 3-4 more seasons.

Its tough for the Cavs' GM to decide whether to make deals based upon Lebron.....But side to that, I think Love gets traded.

An Achilles can be diagnosed really easily. You can test it on yourself if you can relax well.
Rest your lower leg on your opposite knee, like your leg is crossed. Squeeze your calf, and the foot will move down. If the Achilles is gone it won't move down. Generally athlete will describe it like someone hit them hard on the low calf. They'll often swing around looking for someone to give one back to. Sometimes you can hear it-will get described as a 'gunshot'.
MRI will be to see how far it's retracted.
Either way he's getting surgery and his game will never be the same. Horrible for him.
I love having doctors on the forum. This is **** depressing, but it's helpful.
Oh man, if I was a doctor I may actually be able to afford to get to Milwaukee again
Thanks tho. Yeah, it really sucks for Boogie.
So, You just slept at a Holiday Inn?

If those stats are true, that's horribly depressing. I did really want to see playoff Boogie.

I think NO probably still offers him the max and hopes like hell he makes a full recovery. If they let him walk they are really limited in what else they can do to improve their roster around Davis. They are kind of backed into a corner on this and if the gamble fails it may lead to Davis being dealt and that team burnt to the ground.
I think he'll still have some suitors in FA but it probably knocks off a few teams who already had concerns about boogies attitude and this will push them over the edge and out on him.

Maybe not career ending but from what I’ve read no player comes back the same (Nique seemed close though).
