With Jrue in the backcourt, making sure the other guard had deep, accurate range is extremely important. Donte was all we had to give them. Very unfortunate, but the starting lineup does look good.

Who gets the MLE?

Keep in mind we also have the BAE. We have to find like 3 guys that actually contribute with the MLE, the BAE and minimum contracts and then we can pick up some buyout vets later in the season. Honestly not that worried about depth.

FWIW, I've been keeping up with a Warriors podcast's premium Discord where one of the people in the know who has worked in NBA circles (won't say which one for their sake) said about a week ago Wes was opting out to go the Lakers on the minimum. Of course, in the days that followed, Wes opted out and who does he get linked to? ... the Lakers

Rondo would be ideal with MLE to lead bench, he had great chemistry with Jrue.
