Started a dedicated server with friends a couple weeks ago after years of deliberating on paying for one. Very worth it. We're only at swamps and tip toeing into plains right now, but really looking forward to Ashlands. Mistlands will be pretty much new for me too.WRau1 wrote:Valheim : Ashlands, is fantastic.

Did anyone play Octopath Traveler II? Got a couple weeks before Shadow drops so I'm giving it a shot. Only a couple chapters in but I'm enjoying it fine.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
My old TV (approaching 7 years old) developed an arc of dead pixels that none of the tricks were able to fix. Got a new 75" Neo QLED installed today and ho-ly ****, the picture is insane. Even with a crappy Bally Sports broadcast
The colors are so vibrant. Watched an episode of Shogun and it looked incredible; ridiculous contrast compared to where I was coming from. Can't wait to play a PS5 game.

After a battle I was rewarded with an Invigorating Nut and folks I laughed so hard.

This one's been on my list since it came out. I enjoyed the first but got a little tired with pieces of it that are supposed to be fully addressed in the second. It's one of the best-reviewed RPGs on Steam all-time.

I figured if anyone here had played it you were probably the one. I also played the first one but it didn't leave much of an impression. I think I read that the character stories came together a bit better in the second game. Not sure. I bought it when it came out last year but only playing it now for the first ti,e.

This was a fun pod. I liked the gag they ran for an hour, but if you want to hear about the new NCAA game they start at the 1:20 mark.

I'm skipping through because this show is way, way, way, way, way too long.
M Bison (he looks dope), Terry (!!!!!!), Elena (meh), and Mai (no idea) in SF6 Season 2.
New Kingdom Come 2 trailer looks awesome. Never played the first and thought it seemed like a stuffy game; this one looks full of life and some levity.

Realized when I looked Terry Bogart up that it's been about 30 years since I played a game with him in it and I'm turning into dust as I type thi

Its been planned for a long time. Divinity has it as well. Probably means they plan to stop continued support starting around that time.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Finished Tales of Arise, which I was not a huge fan of (combat too spongey, basically no open world that has been a hallmark of past Tales games) and started on Lords of the Fallen (2023) which I am also not a huge fan of but am playing through because I am a miserable person who doesn't value my own limited time, especially reflecting on RS's recent turning into dust.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
I’m not sure how the PS5’s remote play would hold up with a game that requires more precise inputs, but it’s working just fine playing Octopath. I’m sitting on my porch with a cold beverage, feet up, little fan, Brewers radio broadcast on, and playing the game on my MacBook. Only thing missing is a couple more Brewer runs.

Hate the art style for the new Dragon Age (or the trailer, at least). Disappointing for one of my favorite game worlds.

Just 80 straight minutes of games I want to play. I was very impressed.

Glad I was not alone. Reception for the trailer, at least amongst DA fans, has been...I think "really bad" would be kind.
