Re: PG Cavs - Loss
We fired a championship winning coach . We fired his replacement with a 30-13 record. Obviously optics don't matter to this team (nor should they). So cutting bait and trading Dame could certainly be something they are considering. I doubt it happens though until next summer.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: PG Cavs - Loss
Bobby has a -22.4 net rating this year lol. He is by miles the worst among the main rotation and literally 4th worst in the entire league among 20+ mpg players. Side note, Pat is 2nd worst in the rotation, which also matches the eye test. They **** sucked last year and they suck even harder this year, especially Bobby.
I'm in a weird spot with this team because there's a lot going wrong, but a lot could be fixed by simply having a passable NBA player taking up Bobby's minutes. It doesn't even need to be someone as good as healthy Khris, even just a mediocre player who will slightly give a **** on defense and stay out of the way on offense would be a godsend right now.

Nah, you’ve got to move Dame if someone will pay up. The chemistry here is all wrong. We should be able to get at least two good starters for him. Then hope Midds comes back and see where you are at.
Is this like when the Bucks had to get rid of Bud, but they don't tell you its to get Doc Rivers?

Giannis with a part time Middleton and "a couple of good starters" isn't sniffing championship contention. What's the point?

Bucks 1-5. Suns 5-1.
Was it really a good idea to move on from Bud?

This team will still suck doing that. Middleton is washed. Hes not ever gonna be a guy you can rely on in an capacity.

I'm pretty pessimistic that there is any one fix to the team, Doc & Dame are unlikely to be going anywhere and they're just the beginning of our problems. Horst and the owners really **** us royally. There really isn't much to feel good about with this team, its miserable.

You can tell pretty quickly if bobby has it or not. If not give those minutes to prince since ajax is looking playable and let ajax take some of prince’s minutes at the 3. Aj green seems like the clear replacement for pat. Pat and Bobby’s really good play in the preseason hasnt carried over one bit

Re: PG Cavs - Loss
Weirdest thing about being at the game tonight was the jumbo screen graphic just before tipoff showing Bucks vs. Cavs. The Cavs half of the screen featured Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Jarrett. The Bucks were represented by Beook Lopez, Pat Connaughton and Andre Jackson Jr.
Does the marketing department know something.

I was at a game late last season and Doc had Dame in end of game on D in a one possession game with seconds left too, does Doc not go with defensive lineups?

They played very well and Giannis and Dame looked good together. It's beating a dead horse but this is the game thread for it. Bobby is just straight up killing us. His value might be low, but if we can get anything at all for him it might just be addition by subtraction.

Re: PG Cavs - Loss
Bobby plays NBA basketball like I'd play a 1on1 vs a middle schooler on an 8ft rim after not playing pickup for a decade. We also both look to pass the same amount in those situations.
