Giannis did a great job knocking down 3 of 4 intentional foul free throws.

Also his midrange jumper. Wow.

Great game from Lillard. Good 4th quarter from Portis. Trent and Green are closers until Middleton returns.

The Bucks team defense is not gelled enough to help on Miller and force their role players to make clutch shots. Luckily the Bucks were equally hot from 3-point.

Nice to have a 4 win week, regardless of the opposition.

We are a Tari Eason away from being a top tier contender. Big asset gap however to acquire a guy like that.

After missing a midrange game winner versus Charlotte a week ago, Giannis went 4-4 in the midrange last night to raise his season midrange to 48%. That mark is 2nd in the NBA among those with at least 50 attempts. The man is relentless and fearless.

If this continues and Khris Middleton decides he'd actually like to play basketball then we probably already are contenders.

Giannis is unstoppable shooting like this and with the decisions he's making consistently.

He gets better arc on his jumper than his free throws. He should transition that stroke to his free throws.

I don't know what to believe, does Giannis shooting 48% on midrange shots mean that he will sort his FTs soon and get a 3p down the line. Or shooting 60% on FTs means he will regress to 35% on midrange shots

Why was it worth a double LOL a team doesn't just finish an opponent before resting? As it turned out, Giannis likely expended more energy this way & the outcome was in doubt. May not have happened if Giannis comes in earlier. The lead was dwindling.

This is a tendency Doc has regardless of the score btw. He doesn't bring Giannis back in early enough in the 4th and inexplicably after he's already waited too long he still doesn't come in after a timeout.

Maybe Giannis should jump on his FT's. Not a joke.

Reminds me of the wag some golfers need before their swing. He needs a little bounce before his shot to sync things up.

It's fundamental stuff - don't hold the basketball in front of the opponent so they can grab it, try to catch a board, get back in transition d, don't take early shots, etc. And in Doc's case he keeps leaving Giannis on the bench after TO's even. Got to clean it up.

Yeah, I thought the timeout at 5:43 was to get Giannis back in, I assumed he was waiting at the table. Nope.

It could also be that being up 20 with 7 left they were maybe, just maybe hoping Giannis didn’t have to come back in lol. You know, save him for once?! Lol

He was 100% trying to get away with not using him in the 4th. He would have been able to if our shots fell

So every midrange jumper Giannis is leaning back. Maybe not something you'd always push for, but you can see that this action helps eliminate the head jerk Giannis had forever. Keeping the head still allows for sensory feed back, essential to building muscle memory. Giannis continues to improve, though he's so awesome that each step is subtle.

At least now we don’t need to talk about trading for him for a while

I knew right away that was an acl. Feel like they’re the easiest injury to call on the basketball court.

Never noticed how different Giannis jumper looked til that video. Idk if I’ll ever believe that’s a real weapon for him but if it’s falling keep shooting it. He’s been insane.

I don't like the man, but in no way did I want to see him injured. He wasn't flopping. His knee buckled. Keep it classier.

I feel like Grant Williams is one of those guys that everyone in the NBA finds kind of annoying. I don't think his teammates even like the dude.

But still, it's a bummer that he suffered such a catastrophic knee injury. Not that he ever relied especially on his athleticism, but this could be the kind of injury that effectively ends his NBA career.
