It shows, in the right match-ups, & w/ rest, he can still contribute positively. But Goberts are going to be less the norm, especially toward the top of the east. That's the rub & if Doc has his finger on the pulse to then sit him. That's been a struggle so far.

You figure he'll hit some shots in the playoffs too. He's averaged 18.5 the last 2 playoffs w/out Giannis. He's poised, unlike many of our guys. But in the wrong match-ups it's still going to be a question if he justifies being out there due to D & rebounding.

Thats why the majority of this board other than shootingtheJ says +/- mean nothing kpj was much much more valuable than fu... rollins

You always pretend like defense doesn't matter. It does. Rollins help force a ton of turnovers tonight.

It's not just you though. There's people that think Dame helps win because of PPGz. Bucks better without him because he single handedly kills the defense.

Solid 11/7/2/1. Overshadowed tonight though.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

But why not put them around the core, that included Middleton. As it was, statistically the Bucks were considerably better statistically with him on the court. What would it have been w/ legs around him/them?

It's not somehow a positive we didn't have anyone out there to orchestrate a functional offense. 4 out of the last 5 games were mediocre or worse offensive efficiency games.

marjon for kpj was there...

but patc/portis/ajj for kuzma wouldnt gotten under the apron? so no deal? how do we acquire him without khris?

Incredible road win. This is hopefully the kind of spark that gives all the young guys and new acquisitions confidence for the rest of the season.

Rollins and KPJ are the type of back ups you need around Dame. They are both combo guys that can play with Dame and without him. Rollins is not 100% and will need to get stronger going forward and KPJ just needs to return to his old form offensively and grow into the athletic defender he's capable of being.

Your schtick is predictable and tired. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Beyond tired. Dude was commenting in the Sixers game thread early about how "Bucks aren't beating anyone with Lametime leading the way". Dame proceeds to log 44 minutes and drop 43/7/8 to get us a W, and shocking, not a single post from him in the PG thread.

This need to constantly rag on a dude who's giving us 26/5/8 on 62% TS is lame as hell. Dude is 34 years old and still 7th in the entire league in minutes per game, grinding to help us win games, and we got dudes in here actively rooting against him.

He is he averaged 18/6 per 36 for the clips

Unfortunately shot 24% from 3. He's capable of shooting better, but playing with energy seems to have effected his shooting. He was lazy with the Rockets, but shot well.

Great ball handler though n hes so quick

No need to rush it, but yeah, it's a no brainer to get a young defender on a cheap contract.

Very meh game from a historically meh player.

Not gonna deny that he helped tonight though.

Not that I don’t agree with your overall take here, but a very meh game? That’s the part I’m not sure I agree with. Kuz is a frustrating player by all accounts, he takes bad shots and is out of control some of the time but his energy and pace is light years beyond what I was anticipating after the trade. That can be contagious moving forward with Giannis and the rest of the team will follow suit knowing if they can get to their spots, they can be effective. Closing out defensive possessions and transitional offense were 2 things really bogging us down so far this year, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how much Kuzma helps in both those key areas….
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

This was a dope win. I'll eat some crow on Kuzma, I underestimated just how dog **** a franchise the Wizards are. Never again.

Need 34 healthy after the break, roll out some Kuz/Giannis 4/5 lineups, and get the starting lineup sorted out.

Yes, he should get a team friendly deal. He is a solid rotation guy. Get him on a Scotty Pippen Jr type deal and let him grow and develop.

Kuz is going to be so frustrating. It's night and day the difference between him and Midds athletically and I think he can be an asset defensively, but on offense it's just dribble pullups to an inefficient jumper or a wild pass. Like if he attacked the hoop he'd be incredible.

This is where I am at. His IQ and decision making leave a lot to be desired 90 percent of the time and I think it would be foolish to ignore that...but he is giving a ton of effort and he is an athlete. Just not a very good fit.

Why is he not a good fit
