He better do so within the first 18 minutes of game time.

And he’s 13th in minutes played per game in the league this season.

It’s absolutely mind blowing to me that teams don’t realize that heavy minutes cause wear and tear injuries. He’s 34, has played 80-90 games a year at the highest level for 13 years, what do you think is going to happen.

KD still amazing. Kuz a defended him perfectly on the first possession and he still made the shot.

The last Giannis jumper was wayyyyy off. Starting to regress back to normal.

The paint is money.
I imagine we start going away from it soon.

Richards has been looking to fight ever since Giannis did that thing where he blocked the ball after dunking.

Giannis plays PG, brings it up, calls his own number, promptly dribbles into trouble, coughs up the ball---

I hope GTJ takes this shooting into the playoffs. He's been deadly.

Looked up both coaching records. Interestingly Nellie had some real clinker seasons and a losing playoff record.

Bud with better percentages.

Not weighing in who was better. Both Bucks legends. Both run out of town after the owner got frustrated with an inability to win a (another) title.

PP,

Looking at win/loss records is a horrible way to evaluate a coach. I call it the Mike McCarthy/Mike Ditka syndrome. Here's how they should be evaluated:

1) Independent of who the coach is, determine the level of talent on that team.

2) After making the evaluation, ask yourself, what would an average coach do with that talent? If you believe the talent is at a championship level, then it is likely that team will win or compete for a championship evey year with an average coach.

3) If the coach is top two or three, they'll most likely win every year.

4) If the coach is Griffin or Buck's Kidd bad, they still have a chance, but will most likely not succeed.

Talent is by far the decisive ingredient in success. Coaches get too much blame and too much credit. In my view one of the biggest negatives on many coaches is how stubborn and unwilling they are to change and be creative.

How does Buds success in Atlanta relate to your post? Seems to me it smacks the opposite of the general point your making

IMO Buds simple "hard headed" schemes work best in hungry hard working LESS talented more limited teams. With super talented guys that play for themselves and generally dgaf about the schemes anymore....thats where he has a problem.

Thats basically his current outfit and what we had/have become

Terrence Davis needs to come up soon. 44 points with 12 threes today for the Herd. We could use him.

Tyler Ford. One of the worst. How do you get an out of bounds call wrong when Suns player is grabbing his face because the ball smacked him? And then the jump ball is stolen waaay early on the way up (jump balls should be banished btw).

Good quarter. Wish they'd fight through some of these screens instead of switching so much.

Offence kinda just stopped functioning for a bit there. A larger lead would've been nice.
