3) The vast majority think the roster is not championship caliber and the Kuzma trade was a bad one.

The problem lies in after you get rid of Doc and Horst, then what?

My suggestions:

1) I think OKC and Cleveland have done a great job drafting and trading. Get someone from that tree.

2) Coach- Look at Frank Vogel, Taylor Jenkins(need to get details of what happened),emphasize coaches who are willing to change and adapt

You realize Cleveland is just a bunch of Bud’s guys right? Even Ham’s kid is part of their staff. Taylor Jenkins is a Bud disciple as well.

It’s very funny that the “how do we fix this team” question keeps coming back to Giannis and the Bucks throwing Bud under the bus. Who could’ve seen that coming…

Bad (or is it Bud) takes never die. He took a plus 16 game Suns team and helped destroy it. Who could have seen that coming?

Yeah, Bud did that and not the coach killers that make up that roster. Christ, the guy who got undeservedly fired before him in Phoenix is being advocated for in this post. The Suns are a team of losers who quit on the season a few weeks in. KD getting 3 great coaches in Atkinson, Vogel and Bud fired is the icing on the cake.

Not just me but many others on this board were not pleased with the Bud firing at the time it happened.
The Bucks were leading by a fair amount in the penultimate game of the first round but both Jrue and Khris played unusually poorly in the last 5 minutes and we lost the game; Giannis mainly played point having returned from injury that game and had a triple double I think.

Bud was not sharp mentally in the last game as his brother had just died in a car accident. But we had to blame somebody and they fired Bud with what I consider as a cruel action.
Also Jrue was totally unable to defend Butler. Wes Mathhews started doing much better after Bud asked him to defend Buler but Jrue waved him off and went on defending Butler which didn’t work at all.

This is the background under which we fired Bud. I considered it to be a dreadful decision. And today our team has fallen apart since those days.

I have this great property in the swamplands of Florida (it's all a swampland as far as I'm concerned). Would you be interested?
Lol. A good salesman wouldn't mention swampland. Southern Florida works better. Lol

I don't see Giannis aging that well.

In the years where we have our pick, we’ve traded away swap rights.

The soonest we can tank and keep our pick is the 2030-31 season.

One thing about Giannis is I think he's aware that his style of play wasn't conducive to longevity and that's why he's started adding the midrange to his game. I think each offseason you'll see him add something to help him move away from always attack mode and have more of an older-man's game.

Those losers won 49 games last year. This year's roster was better too.

I, and others, have given a myriad of facts on why Bud had to go, so I won't repeat them.

But to blame the situation in Phoenix entirely on the players, ignores the fact that Vogel had the same team playing really good ball the prior year. The only significant change was the coach.

Your narrative won't stand up to those facts, so it must be the player's fault.

Vogel should never have been fired, either in LA or Phoenix. One of Bud's disciples took over from Vogel in LA and was much worse and Bud took over from Vogel in Phoenix and was much worse.

I've never seen a player lose his handle or arm length, so Giannis will be fine. He doesn't rely on explosion.

KD and Beal (when healthy) are also one year further from their prime.
